Really fun shuttle from Hilton Head Harbour over to Daufuskie Island. Great crew, very entertaining, we learned about the ship being a passenger ferry and a shrimp trawler. The crew provided excellent recommendations for sightseeing on the island and places to eat and drink. Our family of 12, including 4 young grandchildren enjoyed the Dolphin Watching during the cruise. Overall an enjoyable shuttle and we use them again!
I absolutely loved this little adventure. We had such a good time on the island. I will definitely go back.
Overall the experience was good. We had trouble following the map and would recommend better signs. Our golf cart was extremely slow therefore we did not get to see everything we wanted too.
The problem with your site is that everything is misleading. It looks like you can go to the island at your scheduled time and leave at any of the ranges of time, that’s not the case. We left at 9 and then we’re told we have to be back by 12 when we thought we could stay till 5:30. We were in a golf carts for the back end of the day because we thought we had a lot of time. I called Viator and no one was able to help me get on a different ship or extend the time. We were with friends and family. We ended up having to spend extra money to jump on a different ship back. When we booked I sent the link to our friends, it put us on different ships even though it was my booking link. I will never use this company again. So disappointed and added stress to a day that should have just been fun and relaxing. Then out more money to extend our time.
We did not enjoy seeing Dafuskie Island. There is not much to see or do & only 1 place to eat that is marginal.
Really good trip to Daufuskie island. Really knowledgeable and fun crew and we would recommend this to anyone. The island is great and we loved seeing as much of it as possible with the golf cart we rented

Although this was just a ferry trip to Daufuskie, the Captain and First Mate were very friendly and we enjoyed the banter about the area. The boat was small, clean and presentable. I apologize for not remembering your names! Some suggestions~ Non-alcoholic and beer were available to purchase. Take a light jacket and cash for a gratuity. The guys deserved it!
Boat leaves promptly at the designated time. Make sure to allow at least 20 extra min to get there because the parking lot was completely full. We had to park 2 lots back by the shops and had my son with a broken foot on a knee scooter. We ran to catch the boat just as it was getting ready to leave. Thankfully, they waited when they saw us running/scootering and waving at them. Our tour guide was so nice and gave us lots of little facts about the island. We also got to see some dolphins on our return trip which was amazing!
