Kom med på besætningen ombord på Tammy Jane for en 2-timers pædagogisk og malerisk lavland oplevelse, da vi tager dig ud Shrimping! Vi inviterer dig til at lære om vores sunde saltvandsmiljø og introducere dig til nogle af havdyrene, vi trækker sikkert op i vores net (udover rejer!). Vi vil undersøge, hvordan forskellige økosystemer blander sig med at skabe den rige madweb, der giver mad til vores borde. Dette er en unik mulighed for gæster i alle aldre! Hvis vi fanger rejer ombord på en ekspedition, vil besætningen pakke nogle op for at gæsterne skal tage hjem.

Ombord på denne to timers udflugt vil du udforske, hvordan forskellige økosystemer flettes sammen for at skabe det rige fødenet, der giver mad til vores borde. Dette er en unik mulighed for gæster i alle aldre! Hvis vi fanger rejer ombord på en ekspedition, vil besætningen pakke noget sammen, så gæsterne kan tage dem med hjem. Alle udflugter afgår fra Harbour Town Yacht Basin i Sea Pines Resort. Der er et adgangsgebyr på 9,00 USD per køretøj til Sea Pines Resort, som skal betales kontant. Dette gatepas er gyldigt hele dagen, så få mest muligt ud af Sea Pines Resort. Indtjekning til dit rejetrawl ombord på Tammy Jane vil være på Vagabond Cruise reservationskontoret, som ligger lige til højre for Harbour Town Lighthouse. Super fun time catching shrimp aboard the Tammy Jane with Captain John, First Mate Ashley and Deckhand Maddie!! Learned a lot and got some hands on time with the catch! Highly recommend this trip!!
The boards didn’t separate when sinking to the bottom. Staff mentioned to the captain that the net looked tangled. That would have been a good time to bring the net back up and address the issue. The net wasn’t open when trolling for a hour resulted in catching only a handful of shrimp and ZERO bycatch.
Everyone had a great time. The crew was friendly and very informative. It was a plus that our tour caught about 30 lbs of shrimp.
Fun time out on the water on the Tammy Jane and her captain and crew. All were knowledgeable and kept conversations lively. Cut a bit short due to weather, but will do again.
It was such a fun experience!!! The crew was very friendly and so knowledgeable. When the catch came in, the crew took the time to talk about the other sea creatures that were also in the haul before putting them back to sea. There were some young kids on the cruise and the crew was so good with them.

The crew on Tammy Jane was so awesome! Not only were they super kind and knowledgeable, they were fun. They told us a lot about the area and the marine life. All in all a great excursion for all ages!

Good boat ride. Need to have a better communication system for the person talking about the boat, area and the types of sea life that were captured in the net.
Informational, fun, local waters tour. Perfect for a family activity. We felt safe and comfortable on the waters outside of Harbourtown. Overcast skies turned sunny with a chill in the air. A really nice activity for our family.
