Trent was absolutely amazing-knowledgeable, experienced, fun, supportive, and made us feel safe on the mountain! The trail is a hidden gem with gorgeous views. You’ll feel so accomplished when you make it to the top. Highly recommend!!

They were very accommodating to our hiking abilities. We are not hikers but wanted to experience a hike in the beautiful area. We communicated our concerns either them to make sure this was the right activity for us. The last thing we wanted to do was to affect someone else’s hike based on our abilities. Well it turned out they were able to due a wonderful custom hike perfect for us. We were given a few options to choose what was right for us. Trent was our guide. He was knowledgeable, very interesting and great to hike with. They know special places. Would recommend to everyone. Thanks Trent!!

We had an amazing time! Some of us were afraid of heights, but Trent was so helpful and supportive all the way! He made sure we went at a safe pace and made the hike up seem so easy!! We went with our young adult kids and they want to do it again! Trent made it fun and provided so much interesting information all the way. The views he took us to were breathtaking! Ask for Trent!

This hike with Tahoe Outdoor Adventures was worth every penny-and then some! Our family with 2 teen aged boys (13,15 year olds) loved it.! Do yourself a favor and spend the little extra to do this trip! It was as described; unique and totally away from the tourist areas. Our fearless leader, Michelle took us on a private trip to an area that overlooked not just Lake Tahoe but several other high alpine lakes. Ask for her-she is a talented photographer, and cool person to hang out with. I can't recommend this experience enough- It's not too difficult, and it's perfect for the truly adventurous. We live in the Bay Area and compared to the budget hike we booked last year (a crowded stroll along Emerald Bay surrounded by sightseers), this was on another level. 10 out of 5 stars for this great local company! They also have other fun hikes that we cant wait to try next season.

Tahoe Outdoor Adventures and Jeff, Thank you for a wonderful experience. My wife and I enjoyed every minute of our 2 hour summit . We originally had planned a snow shoe hike but due to the lack of snow in the Tahoe area we chose a hike instead . Mitchell had communicated well with us and gave us an option to cancel but we choose to do a hike instead and take in the outdoors of Lake Tahoe. Jeff our tour guide was awesome. An experienced climber and hiker . He was constantly checking on us and took plenty of breaks and also took many pics and videos of us climbing up. We had so much knowledge of the area . I would definitely recommend this company and Jeff. Thank you guys for such an amazing time especially on my birthday. Paul Davila

This was the highlight of our trip to Lake Tahoe. Our guide was professional and knowledgeable and without his help we would never have reached the top of the mountain. Thanks Jeff!

Excellent, truly unique experience! Well worth every penny to see some less traveled, beautiful areas .We adventured through incredible rock formations to lake vistas-way more fun for the teenagers than just a hike! The crew is top-notch, professional and extremely welcoming. We recommend this 10/10!

This was our first time getting to experience a mountain hike and Michelle went above and beyond to make sure we were all taken care of and had a great time. We were a family of 7 people from 10yo to 45yo and with varying fitness levels from not fit to good fit. Hence we were all amazed how single handedly (and with some help from her dog), she took care of everything and helped us get the best pictures too. I am not one for doing much reviews but this definitely deserves it. Michelle’s experience and passion really comes through. She has motivated all of us to get more adventurous.
