We booked the horse riding excursion today and while the activity itself was enjoyable, the experience with some of the staff made us feel extremely uncomfortable. One of the men was fine, but the other was very touchy and behaved inappropriately towards guests. Another female guest later told us that he had sexually harassed her while we were in the sea, which was extremely disturbing to hear. What should have been a fun and relaxing experience ended up feeling uncomfortable and unsafe at times. Staff working with tourists should behave professionally and respect personal boundaries at all times. The horses and scenery were lovely, but unfortunately the behaviour we experienced and witnessed seriously affected the overall experience.

You drive about 30min north. There are then properly groomed horses. We were about 8 people as beginners. It goes through the desert, also to take overpriced photos (it is worth negotiating). Then through a not so pretty building ruins area to the water around knee high to pull a few circles in it, is so far nice, but no riding along a beach. Then always rode a little faster. Well, I certainly didn't feel... But they seem to be able to gauge it. So all in one: a special riding experience, I would say it is worth it! PS: a rider who could ride well should also ride really fast. She had a lot of fun!

Pick up from the Marroitt hotel costs extra 10€/person as described but the driver was very unfriendly to the arrogant. Once arrived at the stables (what you can call stables). A deserted site where you are suddenly surrounded by 4-5- people (a bit unsafe if you are only 2). After a while they brought the horses. We mention that we had never ridden a horse before. They put you on the horse without any instructions, safety measures (helmet) or whatever. Then they leave and without you knowing it he's galloping the horses. Very dangerous and for my wife a fearful feeling. You're not doing this! Before departure, a photographer suddenly arrives and says 20€ per person for photos and videos. After some shouting back and forth by the other people around you, we have agreed 25€ and only then they leave. The so-called desert drive was more of a drive through a residential area under construction in short more of a structure drive. The beach-ride was the only most beautiful. In short for us never such excursions again, also the care and treatment of the horses here will certainly not be of the gentle (perhaps normal in Egypt?). The excursion costs around 20€ via Viator, then another 20€ for hotel pick-up and then they arrogantly force a photographer on you so another 25€.

Very great Funny experience was allowed to ride in gallop across the desert into the sea while Kerim took photos and videos of us it was really great both who accompanied us are very friendly.

Great riding experience, great guide and beautiful horses. They loved being in the sea mine liked playing. First time I’ve been in the sea with a horse.

Great arrangement and instructor. Sunset view was amazing. There was a photographer taking pictures upon a price. I liked the experience a lot and definitely recommend it.
