Herzegovina Tour fra Sarajevo - Day Tour
Beskrivelse
I løbet af denne tur vil du besøge nogle af de smukkeste byer i Hercegovina, såsom Jablanica, Mostar, Blagaj, Počitelj og Kravice-vandfaldene. Indgangen er gratis for alle turistattraktioner, undtagen indgangen til Kravice-vandfaldene, som koster 10 EUR per person i løbet af sæsonen. Først skal vi til Jablanica, en by beliggende i Hercegovina-Neretva kantonen. Derefter besøger vi Mostar, som er kendt for sin ikoniske gamle bro, en rekonstrueret middelalderlig buet bro over floden Neretva. Derefter tager vi til Blagaj, hvor det anbefales at holde en frokostpause på en restaurant ved siden af kilden til floden Buna. Desuden tager vi til Počitelj, som er en historisk middelalderby, der går tilbage til det 14. århundrede. Vores sidste stop vil være ved Kravice-vandfaldene, et yndet sted for mange mennesker at slappe af og slappe af på de varme sommerdage. Du kan endda tage en svømmetur her!

Den historiske by Mostar, der spænder over en dybt dal af Neretva-floden, udviklede sig i den 15. og 16. århundrede som en osmannisk grænseby og i den østro-ungarske periode i det 19. og 20. århundrede. Mostar har længe været kendt for sine gamle tyrkiske huse og Old Bridge, Stari Most, hvorefter den er navngivet. I 1990'ernes konflikt blev imidlertid den meste af den historiske by og den gamle bro, designet af den berømte arkitekt Sinan, ødelagt. Den gamle bro blev for nylig genopbygget, og mange af bygningerne i den gamle bydel er blevet restaureret eller genopbygget med bidrag fra et internationalt videnskabeligt udvalg nedsat af UNESCO.

Blagaj Tekija er et Dervish kloster uden for Mostar, Bosnien, der er næsten 600 år gammel. Beliggende ved bunden af en klippe ved siden af kilden til floden Buna er det en unik og malerisk række bygninger, der ser endnu bedre ud i person, end den gør i billeder.
Det menes, at den befæstede by sammen med dens ledsagende bosættelser blev bygget af Bosniens kong Stjepan Tvrtko I i 1383. Den murede by Počitelj udviklede sig i perioden fra det 16. til det 18. århundrede. Arkitektonisk er de stenkonstruerede dele af byen et befæstet kompleks, hvor to evolutionsstadier er tydelige: middelalderlige og osmanniske.
Kravice vandfaldene, oprindeligt kendt som Kravica vandfaldene, er et af de smukkeste naturområder i den herzegovinske region Bosnien-Hercegovina. Beliggende på floden Trebižat, kaskader den af en særlig stor tuff kalksten depositum og på søen nedenfor. Hele området er beskyttet af statsregeringen, men det er åbent for den lokale offentlighed og turister til besøg og endda svømning.

My husband and I absolutely loved the day trip to Herzogovina. We visited some really stunning places and learned a lot about the history from our knowledgeable guide Mido. I would certainly recommend this tour.

We really enjoyed the trip from Sarajevo to Herzegovina. We went in mid of December where temperature in Sarajevo was -1 and we could see the temperature going up as we approached Herzegovina. Our guide was Vekas. We, including kids, liked him a lot. Vekas is very friendly, quietly spoken, and a very gentle person. He was more of a friend with us than a guide. We went to Jablanica, Kravic, Pocitelj, Mostar, and Blagaj. We had a wonderful lunch in Blagaj. It is shame that night falls fast in December, otherwise we could have seen more of the beautiful Herzegovina.

Amazing tour! Our guide Vekas was friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and full of recommendations. He picked us up at our apartment, drove us out to the beautiful countryside, and stopped at five beautiful locations. We never would’ve seen as much for so little money without this tour. We even stopped at an amazing restaurant for lunch. This tour showed us so much of the country- there’s so much more to see than just Sarajevo. I highly recommend this tour. Don’t miss it.

We took a tour with Vekas from Torus Tours, stopping at Jablanica, Kravice, Blagaj and Mostar. Communication was great and Vekas text me the day before to confirm details of pickup, also letting us choose the music in the car! He was very friendly, chatty and informative, telling us the history of each place, and also gave us some time to explore on our own. Overall, we enjoyed the day with Vekas and I 100% recommend taking a trip with these guys if you're ever in Sarajevo! Thanks again ☺️
