Tag afsted fra Bangkoks kaos til de smuldrende paladser i det gamle Siam på en privat dagstur til Ayutthaya. Den UNESCO-listede by kan være udfordrende at nå på egen hånd, men dør-til-dør transport fra dit hotel og en guidet tur gør det nemt at dykke ned i fascinerende thailandsk historie. Af træner: 07:30. Tjek ind på River City Shopping Complex – Sipraya Pier 08:00. Afgang fra Bangkok med bus med aircondition til Ayutthaya-provinsen. 09:15. Ankomst til Ayutthaya, den gamle by på verdensarvslisten. Tidligere hovedstad i Thailand (B.E.1350 - 1767). Ayutthaya blev erklæret som et UNESCOs verdensarvssted i 1991, den 13. december.
Et af de mest fantastiske Buddhas hoveder i roden af Bodhi-træet, også det var det kongelige kloster og tjente som residens for den øverste munk i den tidlige Ayutthaya-periode.
Det største og vigtigste tempel med i det kongelige palads i Ayutthaya, og det er også prototypen på det store palads og tempel for den smaragdgrønne Buddha i Bangkok.
Beliggende ved siden af WAT PHRA SRI SANPHET. Der er et stort buddhabillede af bronze, som oprindeligt blev nedfældet i det åbne område uden for det kongelige kloster og senere dækket af dette kapel.
det menes at være bygget i den midterste fase af Ayutthaya-æraen. Det menes også, at der var bygget et pantheon for at beskytte Buddha-billedet, men pantheonet blev ødelagt. Buddha-billedet er blevet renoveret mange gange, især i 1954 og 1989 e.Kr., indtil Buddha-billedet ser helt smukt ud.

Don't use Viatour, check who runs activity then go to them direct, Eg Viatour confirmed this tour, sent E-ticket, then at 9.00pm night prior got msg from operator saying activity did not run on day booked. (Next day just got msg from Vuatour askkng for review even though cancelled). Cancellation messed our plans up completely and not the first time with Viatour, now use GetYourGuide whenever we can. Operator allowed switch to another day. In the event rated tour 3 out of 5, fairly good coach, ok but not brilliant guide, Boat was absolutely nothing like the one in the picture, buffet was ok at best, to call boat trip "return by biat" a joke, boarding point was 2/3 of way back to Bangkok! Was long enough on boat though

Very Nice tour with a visit to 3 historical temples of Ayuthaya and a very amazing Cruise back to Bangkok on the famous Chao Praya river with excellent lunch

The Ayutthaya Temple tour by cruise was a perfect blend of history and relaxation. Sailing along the Chao pharaoh river offered stunning scenic view and a peaceful vibe. Exploring ancient Temple brought Thai heritage to life with great guide insights. Highly recommended and well organised!

Very enjoyable time. while visit Ayutthaya from Bangkok the roadside view were very very beautiful. The Guide was very good and active we had great time at Ayutthaya. The best Part while return from Ayutthaya to Bangkok from cruise and had delicious lunch on board. One word description " Amazing"

Good combination of experience guide and tour. Guide explains very well to whole group to spot history. Heritage site of very famous by UNESCO. Happy to go by cruise, amazing view at the bank of Chao phraya River.
