Highland Park - de anlagte terrasser har udsigt over byen og giver den bedste udsigt over Baku Bay, National Flag Square og Seaside Boulevard.
State Museum of Aserbajdsjansk Tæppe - der er glimrende photogenic, museet, designet i form af et stort foldet tæppe, huser også keramik, 14. århundrede metalarbejde, bronzealder smykker og den enorme samling af 10.000 tæpper fra det 17. til det 20. århundrede .
Det fjerde stop på vores rejseplan er Baku gamle bydel eller "Icherisheher". Icherisheher er perle af aserbajdsjansk arkitektur og kultur. Der er mange gallerier og udstillingshaller i Icherisheher, hvor man kan se og købe værker fra forskellige kunstnere, billedhuggere og kunsthåndværkere.
Det ældste monument af Icherisheher er Maiden Tower - et symbol på Baku. Nogle beviser tyder på, at opførelsen af tårnet kunne have været så tidligt som i det 7.-6. Århundrede fvt.

It was a fantastic tour getting an overview about the most famous sights and places in Baku and also to hear more about the history, economy, culture and actual topics about Baku/Aserbaidschan. The tour guide (Orkhan) made the tour an unforgettable experience. He contacted me already 2 days before the tour (fixing pick up time and location), he asked the tour participants their special interest and even after the tour I could contact him for further questions and recommendations what to do in Baku. My grown up son and i were in Baku for the Europa League Final and booked a tour - our guide was prompt in meeting us at our hotel , spoke perfect English and had an impressive knowledge of Baku history - her passion for the city and country's history was infectious and she kept the energy of her narration up for the entire 5 hour duration of our tour. This was a little on the pricey side but we both felt it was worth it and came away with a real sense of the great city of Baku!
An excellent experience that allowed us to know cultural and historical aspects of this beautiful city and for us distant country. Aysu was an excellent guide and hostess, knowledgeable, gentle and empathetic. The tour includes walking times and transfer in a comfortable car. Aysu recommended us local restaurants and typical dishes of this country. It was a nice day and I recommend the tour anyway
Our private tour was a wonderful experience. Our guide Orkhan had in-depth knowledge of Baku and Azerbaijan. We appreciated that he shared a lot of cultural and traditional information with us which we otherwise would not have had a chance to learn. Orkhan was very hospitable. His choice of a traditional meal for lunch was excellent. The incredible architecture of the Heydar Aliyev center and the Flame Towers was something to behold. The exhibits at the cultural center were very interesting. The views from the Highland Park were incredible. The carpet museum is great example of Azerbaijani culture and history. The old city was charming and fascinating. We ended up going back to the old city on our last day in Baku for more exploration.
