Great expérience in Yala, our driver was fantastic, cutting queues and du sing lot of animals!
What a brilliant day out!! It’s a must do experience. We had three leopard sightings along with elephants, crocodiles and monkeys. Our guide Su was amazing! He’s over 25 years working in the park and it showed. He explained how to track the leopards and listen for warning signs from the other animals. He went above and beyond for us. The whole day safari is definitely worth doing! We’d have done it again if we’d had the time. Highly recommend! Food was great too, there was more than enough for us all.
We saw three leopards (two of them from very close range). Our driver, Su, was always among the first to spot a leopard. If you want to increase your chances of seeing a leopard, you have to go on safari with them. Thanks for everything!

We had a fantastic safari in Yala National Park. Our guide and driver, Ish, picked us up early in the morning so we were among the first to enter the park. He knew the right places and was skilled at avoiding the many other jeeps, which gave a fantastic feeling of having nature almost for ourselves. Ish was a really good driver and made sure we got right in the queue the two times, we were so lucky to spot leopards. All in all a really good experience, which can be warmly recommended!

This was a great day with our amazing guide Srimal! We were very lucky and saw/photographed a leopard as well as Asian elephants, water buffaloes, chital deer, grey langur, black naped hare, mongooses, mugger crocodiles and lots of birds! Would highly recommend the experience! Bring cash for cafe and gift shop mid tour
We had an amazing experience with our driver Srimal. So overall 5 stars. I do have one negative thing to say. The bad: it was marked as a private tour but there was another couple with us. It turned out to be even better than alone, but it would be more honest to let us know beforehand. The good: - srimal is clearly a very experienced driver and knows a lot about the animals. He did his utmost best to show us as many animals as possible. And we saw more than what we could have dreamed of. While all jeeps were fighting for the best spot, our driver even got pushed to a stone on the road that damaged our bumper. But he handled it very well. - we went end of june which is low season. I highly recommend going then. We heard mixed opinions about yala with some saying it was a giant traffic jam, but that was not our case at all. We were alone 95% of the time. The traffic jams only arise when there is a leopard because the drivers communicate with each other, but that is a good thing because otherwise you have a really low chance of seeing one. But i would personally not go to yala in high season. - srimal has respect for the animals. Didn’t come too close. Has patience and stops way longer than other jeeps to give us time to appreciate them. And also had an eye for the smaller less known animals like some birds etc. His skills to spot animals blew our minds. He can spot something from 100m away that just appears like a shadow spot in the distance. He is also a humble man. - the breakfast and lunch were delicious and home cooked by the bosses wife. - i could go on and on about the positives but i already wrote a whole chapter. Thank you again Srimal for this amazing day! Definitely the highlight of our trip!
We had such a great day! First in at the park. Saw heaps of animals, crocodiles, elephants, deer buffalo. Our guide was excellent, super professional, great food. He was also very well connected and whenever anyone else found something he got us there as well. Tracked down a leopard at the end of the day too, amazing!

Janak Safari with Su as the driver & guide was an incredibly great experience! The organists and communication beforehand were simple and straightforward. We could even pay in euros. We had the tour in the morning, and Su safely guided us through the safari! He drove us to the front row to see a leopard and reacted confidently when teenage elephants were almost on our jeep (it was super exciting to experience!). We would book Su & Janak Safari again!
This was honestly a 10/10 experience - absolutely faultless and our driver Srimal was INCREDIBLE !!!
