Heldagsvandring til Caminito del Rey

Vi henter ved startpunktet, hvor vi ikke skal bekymre os om at parkere vores transportmidler på en hvilken som helst parkeringsplads, og vi vender tilbage til samme sted på vej tilbage. Under hele udflugten vil vi blive ledsaget af en guide på flere sprog, som vil være ansvarlig for at administrere billetter uden at skulle stå i kø, og som gerne vil imødekomme alle behov under turen. Med en lokal Caminito-guide tager vi en vandretur langs stier og gangstier i et naturområde, og krydser en hængebro, der er mere end 100 meter høj for enden af ruten. Vi anbefaler en form for beskyttelse i vintermånederne, da det kan blive koldt.

Vi laver en vandretur på omkring 7,7 kilometer langs stier og gangbroer, og krydser i slutningen af turen af en hængebro med en højde på omkring 100 meter. Vi starter med at lave en 2 km rute til kontrolpunktet, hvor de vil give hver af os en beskyttelseshjelm, og de vil kontrollere, at vi har det passende fodtøj på, inden turen starter. Vi starter ved Gaitanejo reservoiret, vi vil gå gennem den første canyon, Desfiladero del Gaitanejo, knap 10 meter bred, der vil vi finde begyndelsen af den første gangbro. Derefter vil vi passere gennem El Soto, der ligger mellem kløfterne i Gaitanejo-kløften og Tajo de las Palomas, hvor Kongens bro er placeret. Vi vil lytte til støjen fra vandet, når det passerer gennem Valle del Hoyo. I Desfiladero de los Gaitanes vil vi få adgang til gangbroerne, der ligger mere end 100 meter høje og ender med Avenida del Caminito del Rey, som er en sti, der fører os til El Chorro Station.
Slut på tjenester og tilbagevenden til udgangspunktet (ca. 1 time og 15 minutters rejsetid) Cirka 45 minutters stop i Ardales, afhængigt af vejrforholdene.

Fabulous experience! The hike was not strenuous (for a 71 yr old) and for me, the heights were not an issue. The official guide (Sandro?) was excellent!

Amazing adventure. Our guide was very knowledgeable and fun and the place simply stunning ! The height could be an issue if you’re really paralysed by it but otherwise ok!

Nice walk, too bad for us, it was not very nice (a little rain even) it changes everything about the brightness and color of the water but the gorges are still impressive... The history of this place is interesting... service a little expensive when you see the price of a ticket bought locally...

It was a super nice experience, very well organised and a safe hike on a wild environement. I strongly recomand to take a guided tour, it is more interesing and more fun!

Fantastic route and nice guide. Only negative comment is that an activity that starts 1:20 pm and ends 6:30 pm is not a full day activity, it is a half day! Furthermore, the guide and bus runs two groups after each other on one day, so it is obviously a half day.

The Caminito del Rey was really amazing to see. As we had a guided tour we where suspecting that the guide would tell us lots about the history and further information. Instead she just gave us the tickets and told us to just follow the road and meet up at the end. This was really strange i think. So no the tour was not that good and we could have done it without a guide what really reduces the price a lot. Once but not again such ashame
I am very sorry that you did not like how the excursion has been carried out. The guide gives all the explanation on the bus journey from Malaga to the Caminito del Rey. Within the Caminito we do not give explanations since in many places there is not enough distance to give explanations to a group and it cannot be done due to the COVID restrictions. I hope you have a better time next time
