Kom og nyd en imponerende heldags-tur gennem en af de dybeste kløfter i verden. Frakobl mindst en dag fra byen og nyd den natur, der omgiver denne dal. Vores guide viser dig alle skønheder såsom de enorme fugle, smukke alpakkaer og vicuñas og mere end 79 forskellige typer kaktus. Vores tur starter meget tidligt for at være i stand til at ankomme til tiden ved Condors Cross og se kondorerne flyve over vores hoveder, følge vores rute til forskellige små byer og naturligvis besøge de afslappende varme kilder.

Efter at have hentet alle deltagere afgår vi fra Arequipa kl. 3:30 og kører til Chivay, hvor vi stopper for morgenmad og senere fortsætter til Condors Cross, som er det bedste sted at se Canyon og de berømte Andean Condor fugle.
Colca Canyon er dobbelt så dyb som Grand Canyon. Området omkring Canyon er berømt for sine traditionelle og farverige byer, som du vil passere gennem undervejs. I Canyon kan du finde over 100 slags fugle, over 300 typer planter og mere end 30 typer kaktus. Canyon's højeste punkt er Ampato på 6388 meter over havets overflade. Disse snedækkede toppe danner et imponerende baggrund til Canyon.
Efter kondenskrydset går vi til de varme kilder, der ligger tæt på Chivay. Entrace koster 15 såler, og det er ikke inkluderet i prisen. I de varme kilder finder du forskellige puljer med vandtemperatur fra 30 ºC op til 60 ° C. At komme ind i de varme kilder er valgfrit, men det er bestemt en dejlig oplevelse.
På vejen tilbage til Arequipa stopper vi ind i reservatet på et sted, der hedder Pampa Cañahuas for at se Vulkaner, men også kamelider som alpakkaer, lamaer og Vicuñas. Stop er kun 15 minutter, men du kan se vulkaner og kamelider i mere end 1 time.

Unacceptable cooperation. They canceled our excursion at the last minute while we were waiting very early in the morning for them to pick us up. Because of the last-minute cancellation, we didn’t have enough time to book with someone else. We did not receive a full refund.
This trip was booked 3 months in advance. When I signed up, I confirmed my hotel location and received confirmation that I would be picked up. 3 am came and went and no show off the tour company! Completely out of luck for the day, no refund policy, buy beware!
We were waiting for our transport at 3am to our hotel to receive a cancellation notice at 3:35am for no reason. Very disappointed. We were in arequipa for this activity and we could not enjoy it.
Tour did not show up at 3am to 3:30 am. They cancelled on us earlier that morning without any notice. If we had know. The day prior we could have booked with a different company. Trek the Cocola provider is NO good. We came to Arequipa for the canyon and it was our only day that fit. If we had just known the day prior that they had NO intention of showing up we would have had time to find a different operator. Very disappointing. All other tours have worked flawlessly. DO NOT use track the Cocola!
Colca valley and canyon are stunning. We loved seeing the Condors so close and we enjoyed the hot springs. BUT the 3 hour journey there and 3 hours back were the most uncomfortable I have had on any excursion - there simply is not enough leg room for anyone over about 172 cm. My knees were rammed up hard against the seat in front, so think hard about booking this if you are over 172 cm. Plus we were dropped at one spot and told to be back at 9.30 (an hour after drop off) but it was nearly 10am by the time the minibus arrived, so we had stood around doing nothing for 30 minutes simply waiting.
Beautiful scenery despite the absence of condors!!! Discovery of the canyon, volcanoes... Pay attention to the entrance fees to the canyon. We give the pennies to the guide (I am with a child) and initially it was the total price for 2 while the poster indicates child prices. He came back to us because he got "a discount" on my son's ticket. I find myself having paid twice his ticket after checking at the hotel!!!!
My friends and I took a trip to Colca for a day, it was a long day but, it's worth it. My friends were fascinated with the wonderful view of the Colca Valley, the depth of the canyon and the flight of the condors. If you like to go to the Colca Valley in a day, I recommend you go between March and October. In these months there is the possibility of enjoying the flight of condors with greater possibility since, in the rainy season it can be difficult to appreciate them. Because I broke my ankle three four weeks ago, I wasn’t able to go on the tour. I was disappointed! I was also disappointed that I wasn’t able to get a refund; but I knew that in advance .
It was an amazing experience in the Colca canyon, we departed early in the morning around 3:30 am, the team arrived on time to our aribnb. The breakfast was good and the lunch was cheap considering we ate a lot. The altitude sickness could hit you very bad so it would be better to bring some medicine because it is hard to find it near the Canyon. I would recommend the experience!
A very nice experience in the Colca Canyon, we went with the family and had an incredible time, the guides were very kind and attentive to us, the tours are wonderful and the local food is delicious, we had a lot of fun and we hope to return soon.
