For grupper på op til 4, 8 eller 16 passagerer, denne private dagstur fra York, kun til din fest, giver mulighed for at tilbringe tre timer med at nyde Whitby, samt udforske den naturskønne og maleriske North York Moors National Park. Du vil have en fuld tre timers fritid i fiskerihavnen i Whitby på denne tur, for at se Whitby Abbey (inspiration for Dracula bøger), besøge Captain Cook attraktioner, shoppe for nogle Whitby Jet eller Gothic Fashion, smage Fish & Chips fra den berømte Magpie Café eller bare nyde den livlige havn og kystlinje - valget er dit! Ud over fotostoppesteder på myrerne, vil du også stoppe ved den berømte Kilburn White Horse, markedsbyen Helmsley (med sine maleriske caféer, butikker og middelalderligt slot) og de smukke, traditionelle engelske landsbyer Goathland (Heartbeat og Harry Potter filmoptagelsessted) og Lealholm (med sine skridtstene over floden Esk).

Vores første stop er ved Kilburn White Horse-bjergfiguren på grænsen til North York Moors National Park, hvor din guide fortæller dig historien om, hvordan det blev skåret ud i bjergskråningen i 1857.
Vi stopper derefter i den maleriske købstad Helmsley, hvor du kan se den middelalderlige borg, udforske de maleriske butikker eller bare have en afslappet Yorkshire Brew i en af caféerne - valget er dit!
Efter Helmsley tager vi afsted gennem Hutton-le-Hole ind i hjertet af North York Moors National Park for nogle fotostop, passerer Lion Inn fra det 16. århundrede på Blakey Ridge (det højeste punkt i maurerne) og Ralph's Cross, hvorefter vi stopper i den maleriske og maleriske landsby i Yorkshire Lealholm for at se springbrætene over floden Esk - en fantastisk fotomulighed! Det er derefter bare en kort rejse ind i Whitby, mens du hører historier om badebyens historie fra din guide, som også fortæller dig om de vigtigste seværdigheder, du måske vil besøge.

Vi forlader Goathland for vores sidste stop for at nyde den fantastiske udsigt ved Hole of Horcum, før vi går tilbage til York.

Chris was an excellent guide. The private Mercedes van was clean and comfortable. Chris’ historical knowledge was great and he adapted the tour based on our wants and timeline. It was the right mix of guided and alone time

This was a fantastic tour with a great guide Mark who was entertaining, friendly and informative as well as being a careful and considerate driver, i would certainly recommend this tour to anyone visiting York and if you get Mark as driver/guide it will be a bonus

Absolutely fantastic day tour. Whitby was amazing. So too were the Heartbeat and Harry Potter highlights. Our guide was excellent and very informative. Small groups, we only ended up with 3 on our tour. Was told they never cancel for anyone, unless it is not possible for them to drive. I highly recommend them. Wish I had more time to do their other tours.

My husband and I went on the tour, and it was so much fun! Our tour guide, Mark, was super knowledgeable about everything and was a great photographer for us! We saw so many cool sites and heard some amazing stories. If you get the chance I'd highly recommend checking out the Abbey in Whitby. It was such a cool piece of history and was so neat to walk around!

Beautiful scenery. We really enjoyed the Moors and seeing the Abbeys. Our guide Marc was really informative and did a great job entertaining both my teenage daughter and my elderly father in law.

Great tour and a very informative guide. Beautiful scenery and plenty of time to stop for photos. Whitby is a great place for fish and chips and we enjoyed the Magpie restaurant. Travelled back via Goathland where Heartbeat was filmed and a real treat at the railway station when the Nigel Gressley passed through. A great day out and would highly recommend it.
