Rejseplan

Incredibly moving. Everyone should be made to see a camp in their lifetime. It's tough going but necessary.
Although it was difficult to witness firsthand the realities of what occurred at Dachau, our guide, Marcin, did an exceptional job of bringing history to life through the stories of those who suffered, survived, and perished there. The experience served as a sobering reminder of the atrocities committed, while also providing a deeper understanding of events and personal accounts that were never fully covered in school. To honor the memory of those who lost their lives and to better appreciate the importance of remembrance, I would highly recommend this visit to anyone traveling to Munich.
Our guide was excellent. There was rain all day that was on and off. Somehow she managed to keep us indoors during the heavier rain. The information she gave was extensive and clear.
Visiting Dachau is a heavy experience, but it is an incredibly important one, and this tour handled the history with the utmost respect and depth. Our tour guide Adam was exceptionally knowledgeable, providing vital historical context that went far beyond what you read on the plaques. Instead of just listing dates and facts, they wove together personal stories of the prisoners, the political climate of the time, and the camp's role as the prototype for the entire Nazi concentration camp system. The tour was highly engaging from start to finish. The guide was patient, welcomed questions, and ensured the group had time to process the weight of what we were seeing while keeping us moving seamlessly through the grounds, barracks, and memorial sites. If you are visiting Munich, this tour is essential. It is soberingly educational, meticulously organized, and a powerful reminder of history that should never be forgotten. Highly recommended.
Sam was our guild and he was well spoken in English and very informative about the camp. It is a really interesting experience, I’d say it’s a must.
Scott did a fantastic job explaining the horror that occurred here 90 years ago. He kept us very informed.
Truly moving experience. Our tour guide, Todd, was wonderful. The nice Feature about having a guide is that you see the main things. Otherwise you could spend countless hours there. Be prepared to see some of the worst of humanity. We left with a broader knowledge of Dachau. nazis, and WWii in general. Highly recommend.
Marcus was exceptional as a historian and guide. The level of detail in the information he provided was comparable to taking a college course!!! He has a strong passion for history and his delivery made the information real and sensitive to the Dachau grounds.
We had an incredibly educational tour of Dachau with our highly intelligent guide, Marcus. I felt like I was in college again where he prompted us to engage by asking thought provoking questions. He laid an excellent foundation before we set foot on the grounds. I learned so much that I was previously unaware of. He did a good job of finding shady spots for us when he unpacked the details. And he also alternated spots where we could sit while listening. There is 4 hours of walking and standing in this tour so wear comfy shoes! We met him by the Glockenspiel and he escorted us to the train, bus, and site and stayed with us the entire time, and returned us to where we started. His English was very good. While the experience was somber, it was very educational and eye-opening, all because of our guide. So much better than walking around with a speaker to your ear!
Very well designed & thought out. The guide was excellent, very knowledgeable. Lots of information to process. Memorable experience.
