Deltag i denne 9-timers rundvisning i Soweto med en lille gruppe på højst 11 gæster. Tour Apartheid Museum, Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital og lokale shanty byer. Efter afhentning mødes vi på FNB Fodboldstadion kl udkanten af Soweto. Mød din guide og lyt til en kort forklaring af det berømte fodboldstadion og rolle det spillede i Sowetos historie.
Vi tog afsted til hjertet af Soweto og kørte forbi Baragwanath Hospital, en enorm taxaholdeplads og historiske forstad til Diepkloof
Vores første stop i Soweto er ved Motsoaledi uformelle bosættelse. Gå gennem gaderne med din guide forbi gadecaféer og håndværk markeder til et forsamlingshus, som MoAfrika sponsorerer. Hils og mød folket i bygden og lær mere om deres levevis.
Vi fortsætter gennem Orlando West til centrum af Soweto. Vi stopper udenfor Regina Mundi Kirke og Frihedspladsen for et hurtigt overblik
Hector Pieterson Museum er et stort museum beliggende i Orlando West, Soweto, Sydafrika, to gader væk fra hvor Hector Pieterson blev skudt og dræbt 16. juni 1976.
Vi går ned ad den livlige Vilakazi Street, tidligere ikoniske monumenter og hjemmene til Nelson og Winnie Mandela og ærkebiskop Desmond Tutu.

We siebt a really interesting day with our perfect guide Nicholu. He showed us the Apartheid museum and we had enough time to visit it on our own. Then, we went to the stade and the Orlando Towers. We were in the part of the Soweto-Township, where the poorest people live. A lady showed us how she lives there and we visited a Kindergarden too. If you want to help the Community, buy something in their shop, they make everything themselves and the money is for the hole Community. We went to a restaurant with a african buffet with a delicious choice of meat vegetables and dessert. Vegeterian and Vegan people will tove the vegetables. After lunch, Nicholu showed us the houses of Desmond Tutu and Nelson Mandela and in the end, we went to the Hector Pieterson Memorial Center. Nicholus was a perfect guide who gave us many Information. We highly recommand this tour and this guide.

Tinyiko was a great guide. He took me to off the normal sights to be able to see the real Soweto. I highly recommend him and this tour.

Lobo was an extraordinary tour guide and driver. Lebo was a "walking encyclopedia" of South African history! We were able to talk with him freely, he encouraged us to ask questions, and we could tell he was a man of integrity and took his responsibilities seriously. Amazing tour! I traveled with my mom and did the "Soweto, Apartheid and Lunch" history tour. Our guide, Lebo, was absolutely fantastic: kind, warm, patient, and incredibly knowledgeable. He explained everything with so much detail, clarity, and passion, and helped us understand not only the history of the places we visited, but also about the deeper historical and cultural context behind them.
