Turen kan dække hele Santorini-området. Gæster kan se al sightseeing i Santorini og alle de traditionelle landsbyer som oia Pyrgos og Megalochori. Som besøgende vil du blive fordybet i den varme og afslappede atmosfære i maleriske landsbyer, beundre lokale arkitektoniske stilarter, tage billeder af betagende panoramaudsigt (inklusive calderaen), opdage steder af historisk interesse og vil i processen forstå selve essensen af øen.

Rejseplan
Vi starter vores tur på vej til Firostefani. Landsbyen Firostefani, 'Firas krone', der ligger nord for Fira, skylder sit navn fra sin høje beliggenhed. Faktisk er den betagende udsigt over Fira og vulkanen fra landsbyen virkelig uforglemmelig. Et af højdepunkterne her vil være besøget i Den Blå Kuppel Kirke - den ikoniske kirke, der har prydet forsiden af så mange brochurer og guidebøger.
Fortsætter vi nordvest for Fira, når vi Imerovigli. På omkring 300 meter over havets overflade omtales Imerovigli meget ofte som "det Ægæiske Havs balkon", og den lever bestemt op til dette navn ved at tilbyde en mest spektakulær udsigt over den Ægæiske solnedgang. Andre højdepunkter er de mange kirker i typisk kykladisk arkitektur, især Ai-Stratis-kirken og St. Nikolaos-klostret, samt Skaros-klippen, som har resterne af en middelalderfæstning.
Vi er nu på vej til Oia, den absolut mest berømte landsby Santorini og en af uovertruffen skønhed. Her er der bestemt ikke mangel på attraktioner til at fascinere den besøgende - den strålende solnedgang, huse bygget i nicher inde i den vulkanske klippe, kirker med blåt tag, inspirerende udsigter og idylliske atmosfære vil generøst belønne den besøgende til dette unikke sted.
Dernæst kommer en særlig destination lidt uden for alfarvej. Pyrgos Village udstiller al Santorinis magi og varemærke panoramaudsigt over begge sider af øen, men bevarer også træk fra det venetianske styre. De traditionelle kykladiske huse og stier omgiver det gamle venetianske slot, der tilbyder det bedste fra begge verdener og gør Pyrgos Village til et sted, man ikke må gå glip af.
Ingen tur kunne være komplet uden et besøg på Profitis Ilias. Klosteret af samme navn ligger på toppen af Profitis Ilias-bjerget (Prophet Elijah), Santorinis højeste punkt 600 meter over havet. Selv de, der er imod at tage billeder, vil ikke modstå trangen til at tage et par billeder fra dette fantastiske udsigtspunkt.
Vores næste stop bliver Megalochori ('stor landsby'). Med sin varme og indbydende atmosfære er det en af de mest maleriske og traditionelle landsbyer på øen. Historiske palæer, restaurerede huse og piratgemmesteder er fremtrædende træk ved denne autentiske gamle bebyggelse.
Vores næste destination præsenterer os for noget andet, det arkæologiske område Akrotiri. Her er en af de mest betydningsfulde forhistoriske bosættelser i Det Ægæiske Hav. Akrotiri havde udviklet sig til en storby, før den blev dækket af aske af vulkanudbrud. Asken har dog bevaret strukturer og deres indhold, hvilket giver den besøgende mulighed for at undre sig over dette vidunder fra oldtiden.
Det er måske bare det rigtige tidspunkt til en svømmetur nu, og Black Beach eller Perissa er et glimrende valg. Black Beach er faktisk enden på den lange sorte sandstrand i Perivolos, og det er uden tvivl den travleste og mest berømte strand i Santorini. Efter at have nydt det krystalklare vand og det imponerende sorte sand, bør du bestemt prøve de lokale specialiteter i de mange restauranter ved havet.
Og hvis du tror, du har set det hele, så overvej Red Beach. Denne berømte strand står tro mod sit navn - denne slående og imponerende underlige formation af røde vulkanske klipper med udsigt over stranden skaber et unikt syn, som bestemt ikke bør gå glip af.
Der er dog meget mere til Santorini end en spektakulær udsigt, kirker med blåt tag, smalle asfalterede stier og fantastiske strande. Dimitris was the perfect tour guide for our group of 5! He tailored the tour to what we wanted to see and do. He was very patient with us, and did not hurry us. Two in our group had to walk slower-one having had a knee replacement almost 3 months ago. He was very gentlemanly-holding packages when we needed to take pictures, opening the car doors for us, helping us in and out of the van, even picking up items we had dropped, etc. His recommendations for sites to see and where to eat lunch were perfect!!! He made our day perfect and truly was the perfect host! I highly recommend Dimitris as a tour guide!!

Our family of four recently visited Santorini for a day, flying from and back to Athens. With over 10 hours on the island, we debated between renting a car or booking a tour—and let me tell you, booking the tour was worth every penny! There is no way we could have managed the cliffside hairpin turns and stressful parking on our own, let alone gained such personal insight into the island’s daily life. We booked a full-day excursion with Santorinitours.org, and it fit our schedule perfectly. Our guide, Sara, was absolutely amazing! Along with our driver, Jimmy, she timed our adventure perfectly. Because it was a private tour, Sara shared fascinating history and local stories that made the island come alive. She took us to EVERY corner of Santorini, from the iconic blue domes of Oia to hidden paths, quiet nooks, and gems in the smaller villages. What truly set this experience apart was how Sara engaged with our kids (ages 9 and 13) without hesitation. It didn’t feel like a formal tour; it felt like visiting the island with local family members. Sara and Jimmy made us feel exceptionally welcome from start to finish. A huge shoutout to Stelios as well, he was incredibly helpful behind the scenes, advising us to tweak our tour timing to better align with our flights and arranging a seamless separate transfer from Fira back to the airport. Every detail was handled with care. We couldn’t recommend this team enough!

Our group of 11 did the full day tour and had a wonderful time. Sarah was a friendly and knowledgeable tour guide. She answered all of our questions and gave us lots of fun and interesting information about the island, from the myths to the history to the winemaking traditions. Our driver Stelios provided great details about life on the island as a Santorini native, was very friendly, and gave us a smooth and easy ride through the winding streets of the island. They were also able to help us reschedule when half of our group got delayed at the airport. We got to see many beautiful views of Santorini, had a delicious lunch at a beachside tavern, and got some great pictures. I would definitely reccomend!

It was an incredible experience. Our guide, Elektra, was the best, showing us everything about the island, including its tourist areas, beaches, and food. With Angel as our driver, the tour around the entire island was unforgettable, and the service was the best of all. They explained the history of Santorini to us very well and answered every question we asked. We highly recommend this tour as it is one of the most comprehensive of all.

We had an amazing day trip with Stelios and our guide Stephan was informative. Both were kind and funny. Stelios was our driver for our transfer to and from airport, as well as taking us to Thira in the evenings. He also made many recommendations, even telling us the best spots for food and sunset views etc. He was respectful and made our journeys and stay very comfortable in Santorini.

We did a private all day tour, starting with the 5-6 hour private tour of Santorini followed by the Wine tour with sunset at Santos winery. I can't say enough about how awesome the experience was and it was made special by Jenny. Her knowledge of Santorini and her love of her island were clear. She was accommodating and knew all the right times to be at places juts before they filled up and the secret spots for the best pictures. She's also a really good photographer. I have already recommended her to a friend who also used her this week and loved her and the team.

Our guide Kostas, made the day memorable. He took us to hidden locations to get the most amazing photos and helped us beat the crowded tour buses, especially in Oia. Kostas also provided a Greek history and language lesson on the way to our next destinations that enhanced the tour. I strongly recommend him as a guide.
