Salar de Uyuni er et naturligt vidunder af enestående skønhed og unikt i verden, som ikke behøver nogen introduktion ved første øjekast, men dets imponerende størrelse fører os til uundgåelige spørgsmål som: hvor stort er det? Hvor er du fra? Hvorfor sådan en mængde salt og andre mineraler?, og så en række af mange spørgsmål, som det er nødvendigt at have en specialiseret guide til på området. vi besøger byen Colchani for at se saltprocessen og butikker med kunsthåndværk
Derefter besøger vi Uyuni saltfladen, hvor vi vil se bunkerne af salt, besøge saltfladens øjne, Playa Blanca salthotel (første salthotel, museum), Dakar Rally monument og vi ser forskellige landes flag.
Besøg på Incahuasi Island (indgang 30 bs. eller 5 USD pr. person), hvor vi vil observere de smukke kæmpe kaktusser og stige op til toppen af øen for at betragte den imponerende Salar de Uyuni i sin helhed (INDGANG ER IKKE TILLADET I REGNSÆSONEN). (Indgang er ikke tilladt i regntiden) Vi vil også tage perspektivbilleder af saltfladen og nyde en picnic frokost. Til sidst vil vi se en storslået solnedgang over vandet inde i saltfladen. Vend tilbage til byen Uyuni cirka kl. 19.00.
Modtagelsen af turister vil blive koordineret i henhold til deres reservation, busstation, luftterminal, togstation, hvor vi venter på dem med det tilsvarende firmaskilt.

An extraordinary day with Mario, who helped us discover all the wonders of the Uyuni salt flat. The day is well-paced and varied. Explanations about salt farming, grandiose landscapes, lunch, and drinks were really very nice. And we finish with the sunset on the mirror of the salt flat. Mario is very nice, very attentive, and we are truly grateful to him for this unforgettable day and the souvenir photos that will accompany us on our return. We loved it!!!

My guide Mario was very friendly and we had a great time throughout as if he was coming with a friend, although he was there alone. They answered our history and questions with deep knowledge, and it was very meaningful that they made time to go sightseeing alone!
Such an incredible experience! We arrived in the morning and booked a tour for the same day. Our tour guide, Christian, was absolutely brilliant. We spent a full day on the salt flats, saw various monuments, had lunch and even some snacks and wine at sunset. The tour guide made sure we had everything we needed and also took some really cool photos of us. Would highly recommend!
Amazing Uyuni Salt Flats tour with Mario! Everything was perfectly organized, and the landscapes were absolutely stunning. Mario made the experience fun and extremely exclusively. He found us the most secret and private spots (e.g. for lunch) which made the tour unforgettable and unique. Highly recommended!
Hands down one of the best tour operators in Uyuni. Book it and make the trip, it will be unforgettable. They really care about providing an excellent experience from start to finish. The office personnel is in constant communication and follows up on the upcoming booking and provides updates like “know before you go” info. Mario, the tour guide is a great person and goes above and beyond to make sure everyone is having a good time, as well as taking memorable photos. He is an expert. I cannot recommend them enough!
The tour guide was wonderful, felt very safe with his driving and he spoke excellent English. The tour was absolutely amazing, we enjoyed a wonderful lunch at the salt flats.
We did the Salar de Uyuni tour with Mario. He is a very good driver, guide and great photographer. We had a lot of fun and learned a lot about the salt lake and Bolivia. The tour with Mario is highly recommended!! We were so excited that we booked a second tour with him 🙂

We had a great day with our tour guide. Mario. He picked us up on-time and took us to see the Uyuni Salt Flat. He is very flexible and listened to our requests. He also took great photos for us and left great memories. At end, we called him Super Mario. So, if you decide to book a tour, ask for Super Mario to be your driver and guide.

We booked a private 3-day tour and already the communication with the staff in advance was very good. We were picked up on time at the airport, and over breakfast in the cafe we could discuss our wishes directly with the guide. Mario was a tour guide, driver, cook and photographer in one person and he did his many jobs excellent !! He was committed to impressing us with food and information far beyond the normal level. He was concerned at all times about our well-being, responded to wishes and did not strictly adhere to a schedule. Towards the end of the tour he even drove unplanned to a great viewpoint over Anaconda Canyon. Back in Uyuni, our onward journey for the next morning was already organized by Trans Andino Tours, and we immediately received the bus driver tickets. We can highly recommend Trans Andino Tours and Mario!!
