We had a great day out with our guide, Terezija, who was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. We had a wonderful time at the lakes.

It was supposed to be a small group tour, but it was only the two of us. First credit to the company that they did not cancel despite not having a full group. Theresia was a lovely guide who was very knowledgeable and informative about the lakes. Even the forest officials seemed to know her well. She had also packed an unexpected yet wonderful vegetarian lunch for us showing us her compassionate side. She took us on the right route that avoided the crowds. And she took some fantastic pictures of the two of us. The 10 hours trip with 7 hours at the park felt just right - not too rushed, not too slow either.

Best way to do this tour destination is with Thereiza from Romeo & Juliet Tours. She was magnificent! She took such time and attention to our needs and pace. Made us lunch and bear pit stop. She showed great views for photos and extended flexibility to change days due to rain. Her knowledge and compassion were comforting as we weaved through the group tours. She even ran back to get lost glasses negotiating with parking guides. We highly recommend her and this tour. You won't regret it!

We had booked a tour with another organisation ,but got canceled at 5:30 on a sunday ....The owner of the place where we were staying gave us her number. We soon manage to agree on a price and schedule. She is a wonderfull person ,eager to please her costumers , ponctual and realable. I wish her all the best she deserves.

Our day was amazing. We walked off the ship and Terisita was standing right there, super easy to find. She drove us through the beautiful countryside of Croatia explaining things and telling us the history along the way. We stopped to get a coffee and saw a couple of bears that had been rescued as Cubs and were now in captivity. Big,big bears. And we proceeded to the waterfalls. She guided us through in the most efficient manner explaining things on the way, but mostly just letting us enjoy the peace and solitude of this beautiful park. At the end, she advised us to walk down to see a large waterfall at the bottom, which is highly recommended. Meanwhile, she hiked out and got the car and met us at the exit point. She then drove us back into town and dropped this off in old town, returning to get us a couple of hours later. She showed her love and pride in both Zadar and Croatia and highlighted its beauty and appeal perfectly. (Our ship was port for a long time so we were able to do everything.) I really can’t say enough good things about Terisita and Romeo and Juliet Tours. Don’t think just do it.

In planning our recent most beautiful trip to Croatia, we were a bit apprehensive in booking a tour outside the usual "more trusted" tour operators (i.e. Viator, GetYourGuide, etc.) but decided to chance it and booked this private tour directly with Romeo & Juliet. Our initial apprehension was all for not! Terezija confirmed our tour the day before and was on time at the agreed to pickup location. During our 2-hour drive to the lakes, she provided us with lots of information on the history and politics of Croatia as well as life in general. Once in the park, Terezija guided us through the most beautiful areas of the park, pointing out spectacular waterfalls, crystal clear lakes and amazing picturesque sceneries. As this was an all inclusive excursion, Terezija provided us a delicious lunch complete with water & snacks. Our tour ended at another park entrance so Terezija made arrangements with a colleague for transportation to the entrance where she parked her vehicle upon our arrival at the park. On our way back to Zadar, Terezija provided lots of information on things to see and do and places to eat (which all turned out to be fabulous!) while in Zadar. Also gave us some tips for our next stop (Split/Hvar) on our Croatian adventure. We can't say enough about Romeo&Juliet Excursions and Terezija, we highly recommend this tour operator without any hesitation!!!

I've been to Croatia once, & was disappointed that I didn't get to visit the Plitvice Lakes because it was raining the day I was there. Since this cruise stops at Zadar, we've decided to take a chance & booked this private tour with Romeo & Juliet to see the lakes. Terezija picked us up from the port & drove us 2 hours to the park. She took us to the most beautiful areas of the park, where we saw beautiful waterfalls, crystal clear lakes & colorful foliage. The sites were just amazingly beautiful. We also took a 20 minutes boat ride on the lake. Terezija provided us with a delicious sandwich, water & snacks. She was also very considerate because when she saw that we were tired from the hike, & would be difficult to walk back to the parking lot where she parked her van, she hired a taxi to pick us up from a closer parking lot, & drove us to her van. This saved us a lot of walking, & also to ensure that we get back to the ship on time. I am really glad that my friend recommended Romeo & Juliet tour company. I will definitely hire them again if I go back to Croatia.

My friend and I had a private tour with Terezija. We went to Plitvice Lakes. We loved it and really think it was worth it. She knows the park extremely well, she has been touring there for many years, and she really tailors to your needs and desires. We had the best experience because of taking this tour. The park is amazing and Terezija services and personality also . Highly recommended.

A wonderful day spent at Plitvice Lakes with the very knowledgeable and ever cheerful Terezija. From the time we were collected from Vodice we thoroughly enjoyed our round trip to Plitvice. The national park is an absolute must visit for any traveller to Croatia. The design of the walkways around the lakes and the constantly stunning views of multiple lakes and waterfalls make this a truly unforgettable experience. Great day on a private tour at plitvice lakes from Zadar cruise port. Our guide Terezija was waiting us at cruise port when we docked. Easy to find her. Nice and clean van. Lots of information provided about park and Croatia. Lunch sandwich and park tickets included and reserved for us by Terezija. Had time to do both upper and lower lakes.
