Vi begynder turen med et besøg i de storslåede templer i Paestum, omgivet af mure, der stadig er i god stand med en polygonal omkreds på næsten 5 km. Vi fortsætter med et besøg på ruinerne af Pompeji, det tredje mest besøgte statsmuseumssted i Italien. Slap af ombord på en Mercedes sedan eller minivan med aircondition, wifi og en flaske vand ombord. Vores chauffører vil tale engelsk, de vil være professionelle og meget hjælpsomme, de kender de områder, du vil besøge godt, og vil være i stand til at give dig fremragende råd. Du bliver hentet direkte ved afgangsstedet, fra havnen, stationen, lufthavnen eller et andet sted (hotel), du bliver sat af på det nøjagtige tidspunkt for din ankomst, og du vil blive hjulpet med din bagage. Pompeji er et af de mest betydningsfulde beviser for den romerske civilisation og giver enestående information om fortidens kunst, skikke, håndværk og daglige liv. Byen er genopstået efter århundreder, ligesom den ville have været, da den blev begravet i laget af aske og lava fra Vesuvs udbrud i år 79 e.Kr. I det, der havde været et af de mest aktive og pragtfulde centre i Rom, stoppede livet endegyldigt. Du har 2 timer fri til at besøge ruinerne af Pompeji. Hvis du vil, kan jeg finde en guide til dig. (prisen på guiden og billetter er ikke inkluderet i turen) - Mellem en attraktion og en anden kan kunden beslutte at tilføje en frokost og en vinsmagning, typisk for Vesuv, med et besøg i vinmarkerne eller en smagning af bøffelmozzarellaprodukter på en gård. - Du skal nok tilføje ekstra timer, hvis du tilføjer frokost, da det tager mere end 8 timer, men det afgør vi sammen. Phenomenal! This was a once-in-a-lifetime trip for my family that included four generations. We were able to spend time living and eating like Italians and got to see many of the most fabulous sites in Rome, Florence, and Venice. But by and far our Private tour and day trip to The Ruins of Pompeii guided tour and The Greek Temples of Paestum was everyone's favorite day before we even knew we were going to the beautiful Bosco de Medici vineyard for an amazing lunch and wine tasting. Everything was organized for us including the car seat for the baby. Our driver was waiting when we arrived at the train station with a comfortable, air-conditioned van. We didn't have to worry about anything, we could just sit back and relax and have a great time. Definitely the easiest day of our whole trip 🙂 Our driver was amazing. He helped us get whatever we needed and gave lots of information on the areas we were visiting and the lifestyle. We had experiences of a lifetime and memories we will never forget. Thank you Palma and Nello, you are awesome at what you do!
The day was ok but rushed. When we booked it, it was very misleading, but they have since changed it to be more accurate. This is strictly a transfer and you need to grab lunch on the run because time is not allowed for that. When we booked it, it looked like a tour and that we would have time to stop at a winery as long as we paid for what we did there. It also said that our driver would stop at scenic spots and let us take pictures, while pointing out things along the way. None of this was the case, but fortunately they changed the listing. Paolo, our driver was very nice, but only tried to answer our questions and didn't add anything additional as far as information about the area. My rating is based on the listing we booked it from and not what is represented now.
Giuseppe was very prompt and professional. He speaks exceptional English and was able to anticipate our needs. When we come back to this area, we will hire him again.
We had a fantastic experience with this booking. The communication beforehand was seamless and easy; the company was helpful in making recommendations & allowed us to customize our day, all with plans prepared in advance! Our driver, Giuseppe, even arrived early to pick us up from our hotel and he was friendly, polite, & an excellent driver. The car was also comfortable for the duration of our private drive. We had just the right amount of time to enjoy our independent experiences in Pompeii & Paestum (plus, the lunch stop we added on), but you could choose to arrange tours if you wish.
