Mød din guide i hotellets lobby kl. 9:00 og start din tur med et besøg i Jama Masjid (bogstaveligt talt fredagsmoskeen), også kendt som Jumah-moskeen eller Jami' Masjid, er en moske i Ahmedabad, og blev bygget i 1424 under regeringstid af Ahmad Shah I. Inskriptionen på den centrale mihrab mindes indvielsen af moskeen den 1. Safar A.H. 827 eller 4. januar 1424 e.Kr. af sultan Ahmad Shah I.
Besøg derefter Siddi Siyed-moskeen som en af de mest berømte moskeer i Ahmedabad bygget i 1573. Den blev bygget af Sidi Saiyyed, en abessiner i følget af Bilal Jhajar Khan, en general i hæren af den sidste sultan Shams-ud-Din Muzaffar Shah III fra Gujarat-sultanatet
Besøg Gandhi Ashram (Sabarmati Ashram), som ligger i Sabarmati-forstaden Ahmedabad ved bredden af floden Sabarmati. Dette var en af boligerne for Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi, almindeligvis kendt som Mahatma Gandhi, som boede her i omkring tolv år sammen med sin kone Kasturba Gandhi. Du vil også se nogle Ashram-attraktioner, såsom Magan Niwas, Upasana Mandir (Prathana Bhoomi) og Hriday Kunj.
Herfra rejser du til Hathee Singh Jain-templet. Opførelsen af templet blev oprindeligt initieret af Shet Hathisinh Kesarisinh, en velhavende Ahmedabad-handler. Byggeriet blev overvåget og afsluttet af hans kone Shethani Harkunvar efter hans død.
Gør et stop ved den populære restaurant (Own Expense). Efter frokost fortsæt til Adalaj Stepwell for at se en unik hinduistisk "vandbygning" i landsbyen Adalaj. Den 5-etagers dybe trinbrønd blev bygget i 1499 af den muslimske konge Mohammed Begda til dronning Rani Roopba, hustru til Veer Singh, Vaghela-høvdingen. Trinbrøndene var engang en integreret del af Gujarats semiaride regioner, da de sørgede for grundlæggende vandbehov til at drikke, vaske og bade. Disse brønde var også spillesteder for farverige festivaler og hellige ritualer.

The Heritage walk was a unique visit through old and New Ahmedabad. Our guide Norah was friendly, informative and knowledgeable. The Temples were beautiful structure and we stopped for munch at a unique Gujarati Talle restaurant. I would recommend this tour to anyone who visits Ahmedabad

I Am a Yoga Instructor and organised this tour for my clients who were visiting Ahmadabad.. Tour was well planned and organised and the Guide was very knowledgeable..
No show! Booked the tour on their website and waited for them. Did not show up. Only 1 of the 3 numbers provided worked. Wanted me to wait an hour for them to find a guide / driver. Requested refund.
Dear Ma'am.. We understand that the booking was made right before 6 -8 hours to the departure of the tour.. unfortunately due to Network and technical errors the booking was not Landed. Thought we politely requested 45 mints and driver and guide was on thier way to pick up point.. However we respect and understand the decision of Guest.. the booking was made directly on website not through Viator and trip advisor. The Amount paid is on hold with PayPal and yet not received in our account as you already placed a hold on the payment.. Mam I have already written to Paypal to remove the hold and revert the money back to you.. sharing the screenshot of the same on your email and Contact number. Mam we understand that the services could not meet on expected time.. And we regret the inconvenience caused . We have requested paypal to process the refund.. Regards Neha
Very poor. The guide did not speak a word of English and didn’t explain any of the sites we visited and didn’t even try to, using google translate for example. We visited a mixture of temples and mosques but with no guidance we could not understand the history or culture of any of it. The overall day cost £240 for two people which in our eyes is far too expensive for what we received. No water or lunch provided …
Ahmadabad was a good stay. There were too many places to visit. The best of the lot was the Akshardham temple and its laser show which was awesome one would not miss the same. It has some fun rides for the kids too. All in all a good place to visit with family including kids has something for everyone.
