Vi tager dig gennem den smukke by Muscat, hvor vi først vil besøge den store moske, som blandt et par andre er et af de største 1-delt håndlavede iranske tæpper i verden. Tæppet vejer hele 21 tons og kan komfortabelt rumme op til 20.000 tilbedere.
Vi vil køre dig rundt i ministerierne og Royal Opera House-området, som er førende kunst- og kulturorganisation i Sultanatet Oman. Visionen for Operahuset er at tjene som et center for ekspertise inden for globalt kulturelt engagement
Bait Al Zubair er et museum, beliggende på Al Saidiya Street, Old Muscat, Oman. Museet har en omfattende samling af gamle våben, herunder khanjar, husholdningsudstyr og kostumer. Uden for museet ligger en omansk landsby og souk i fuld skala

Al Alam Palace "Palace of the Flag" er et palads beliggende i Old Muscat, Oman. Det blev brugt som et ceremonielt palads af sultan Qaboos bin Said Al Said. En af monarkens seks sultanboliger har en historie på over 200 år og blev bygget under overvågning af Imam Sultan bin Ahmed, den syvende direkte bedstefar til Sultan Qaboos.
Al Jalali Fort, eller Ash Sharqiya Fort, er et fort i havnen i Old Muscat, Oman. Fortet blev bygget af portugiserne under Filip I af Portugal i 1580'erne for at beskytte havnen, efter at Muscat to gange var blevet plyndret af osmanniske styrker. Det faldt til omanske styrker i 1650. Under borgerkrigene mellem 1718 og 1747 blev fortet to gange erobret af persere, der var blevet inviteret til at hjælpe en af de rivaliserende imamer. Fortet blev senere omfattende genopbygget.
Fort Al-Mirani er et fort, oprindeligt bygget af portugiserne, i havnen i byen Old Muscat, Oman.

We had a wonderful day today visiting the Grand Mosque, Mutra souk, Parliament buildings,Al Zubair Museum and the cream was the visit to Royal Opera house. Our guide Amer, was really good fun to be with. He explained all the details of each place and made it a very memorable day for us. He was very good with taking pictures, helping us shop around in Mutra souk. He gave us a true taste of Oman by being so hospitable and making us try the Omani bread and the amazing Omani coffee with dates. We are very grateful for such a lovely day and we look forward to the rest of the trip. Thank you Sunshine tours !

The tour was organised with clear arrangements and an excellent guide who explained everything clearly. The admission fees were affordable, and the guide even helped us bargain at the souk — such a nice touch! Truly worth it!

We packed a lot into 8 hours with our expert guide Adil. He displayed good local knowledge, good English and a good sense of humour. Our tour covered all the itinerary items, with times spent at each set by us. Plus a few extras. We finished up watching wave surfers and doing donuts on the beach…

The tour comprised of sultan Qaboos grand mosque, mutrah souq and fort, and visit to national museum of Oman. The overall trip was very rewarding and I would definitely love to revisit these places again.

Muscat is truly a beautiful city, with the combination of mountain and sea, lot of historic places. The trip was very nice, accompanied by brother Muneer, that give us the experience rather than just a tour.
