Det UNESCO-listede tempel Angkor Wat er Cambodjas mest besøgte attraktion, og det er endnu mere storslået under skæret fra den opgående sol. På denne lille gruppe tur, stå tidligt op for at se solopgangen over Angkor Wat, og drag derefter fordel af det køligere vejr og færre menneskemængder til at udforske de omkringliggende templer. Besøg derefter Angkor Thom, beundre porten til Bayon og opdag Bayon-templet. Vi holder en pause til morgenmad på et sted nær tempelområdet, før vi besøger det buddhistiske tempel Ta Prohm (kendt fra Tomb Raider), hvor massive trærødder vokser gennem strukturerne. Til sidst stopper vi ved Banteay Kdei-templet, før vi vender tilbage til hotellet.

Bayon er et rigt dekoreret Khmer-tempel relateret til buddhismen i Angkor i Cambodja. Bygget i slutningen af det 12. eller begyndelsen af det 13. århundrede som statstempel for kong Jayavarman VII. Bayon står i centrum af Jayavarmans hovedstad, Angkor Thom
Ta Keo er et tempelbjerg i Angkor, muligvis det første, der udelukkende er bygget af sandsten af Khmer-imperiet.
Ta Prohm er det moderne navn på templet i Siem Reap, Cambodja, bygget i Bayon-stil stort set i slutningen af det 12. og begyndelsen af det 13. århundrede og oprindeligt kaldt Rajavihara.

Did the sunrise tour and it was so worth it. Got to see the sun come up from behind angkor wat and then went to go explore inside and see some of the other temples in the area such as Bayon temple and Ta Promh temple. I learnt a lot about the history behind all these places through our amazing guide and helped us get great pictures as well. Every time we went back to the bus they also gave us ice cold water to keep us hydrated since it was very hot. Would 100% recomend

I went on the Angkor wat sunrise tour. We got to see three other temples as well and had a stop for lunch (food not included). The Angkor visit pass is not included in the prize, however it was possible to buy on the way there with the help of the tour guide if you haven’t bought it online already in advance. Our guide Vone took great care of us and contributed with a personal and fun guiding experience plus photos for those who wanted to. Also a lot of bottled water was provided which was much appreciated.

We had a wonderful time looking at all the historical temples and learnt a lot of key facts about each temple and the history behind them. Our tour guide Vone was excellent and made good jokes.
