Efter at have mødt din guide, tager du vejen til Saint-Emilion i en 9-personers varevogn. På vejen vil du lære mere om vinene fra Bordeaux og Saint-Emilion. Derefter vil du besøge et familieslot, hvor du vil lære mere om, hvordan vine laves. Før en smagning af mindst 3 vine fra ejendommen. Du vil fortsætte med en historisk guidet tur i landsbyen Saint-Emilion og en smagning af dens anden specialitet: makroner. Klassificeret af Unesco siden 1999, det er en middelalderlandsby med en betagende udsigt. En udflugt, du ikke må gå glip af og det bedste forhold mellem kvalitet og pris på markedet!

Mødet er sat foran Cité du Vin. Når du har mødt din guide, tager du vejen til Saint-Emilion i en nylig 9-personers varevogn (45 minutter). På vejen vil din guide forklare de særlige forhold ved Bordeaux-vinmarkerne og Saint-Emilion i særdeleshed.
Vi begynder udflugten på en familievingård, hvor vi dyrker vinstokkene økologisk. Du vil besøge karrummet samt fadkælderen og lære, hvordan Saint-Emilion-vine laves. Besøget afsluttes med en smagning af vine fra ejendommen (minimum 3 vine, primært røde).
Vi fortsætter med en guidet tur i landsbyen Saint-Emilion. Din guide vil introducere dig til Saint-Emilion og tage dig gennem dens gader, pladser og vigtigste monumenter. Et resumé af middelalderhistorie i en af de smukkeste landsbyer i Frankrig! Du får også mulighed for at smage Saint-Emilions lækre makroner og tage mange billeder fra betagende udsigtspunkter.
Når besøget i landsbyen er forbi, tager vi vejen til Bordeaux (45 minutter), hvor din guide vil sætte dig af i nærheden af Cité du Vin.

Our guide was very knowledgeable about French wine and especially the wine around Bordeaux. The winery tour was interesting, but the samples were smaller than most other wine tastings. The walk around St, Emmilion was pleasant and a very interesting city. Pick up place was a hassle. It was supposed to be in the wine museum parking lot, but there is not really a parking lot. There is a fenced in area for handicapped people to park on the far side from where we were approaching. The guide finally reached us by phone.
Hello Fred, Thank you for your review; we're glad you enjoyed the tour. The amount of wine served during the tasting is in line with French standards. It may be more generous in your country. The meeting point is in front of the entrance to the Cité du Vin, not at the parking lot. You simply misread the instructions on your ticket. Very educational; about history, grapes, wine, governing bodies, soil, smell and taste. I’ve no doubt missed something. Our guide Milla, seemed to enjoy her job. She is very knowledgeable and very accommodating without allowing the day to waste. The guide at the Chateau could not have been more passionate about her employer, their history and their produce. The green/organic aspect was very interesting. I am definitely recommending this tour.

Wonderful small group tour! Emanuel was very personable and knowledgeable about the area. We went to Chateau Coutet and learned much about wine and winemaking from George. We then went to St Emilion for a guided tour of the area

Emmanuel was a pleasant, friendly and very informative guide. Small group visit to quaint family run vineyard. Interesting tour of vineyard and opportunity to purchase wine produced at very reasonable price. Walking tour of the beautiful city of Saint Emillion, sampling delicious macaroons. A lot packed into a few very enjoyable hours!

Fantastic visit to a family-run organic vineyard near St. Emilion, followed by a charming and leisurely tour around the village itself. Our guide from Vert, Emmanuel, was friendly and highly knowledgeable of his subject. A great morning, just the right duration for an excursion!

Emmanuel was fantastic from the get-go. Super friendly and clearly highly knowledgeable when it comes to the wine and the region. He speaks perfect English. We got collected at the given location at the established time and had a very pleasant journey until the Vineyard in a very comfortable Van. Considering the customer service, expertise of the tour guides, the Vineyard itself, the Tour around Saint-Émilion the experience has a great Value for money. The whole trip was amazing, since the trip to the Vineyard, the Vineyard itself and the tour through the Village. Recommend 100%.

Tour guide was so friendly and had such great knowledge about wines and also the history of the region, he also gave great recommendations for restaurants in Bordeaux which was really appreciated. The chateau was great fun and the wine tastes superb!
