Denne halvdagstur er praktisk for turister på et mellemlanding eller før de besøger andre tanzaniske parker. Dette er den bedste dag for dig at flygte fra byens stress og jag. Nyd gratis hotelafhentning tidligt om morgenen eller midt på dagen, afhængigt af hvornår du vil starte din tur. Efter en kort introduktion kan du nyde en tur i en 4*4 landcruiser i cirka 40 minutter og gå ind i denne berømte nationalpark. Parken ligger kun et par kilometer nordøst for Arusha, selvom hovedporten er 25 km øst for byen og 35 km fra Kilimanjaro International Airport (KIA). Arusha National Park har et rigt udvalg af dyreliv. På trods af parkens lille størrelse omfatter almindelige dyr giraf, kapbøffel, zebra, vortesvin, den sort-hvide Columbus-abe, den blå abe, flamingo, elefant, løve og mange andre afrikanske dyr. Leopardpopulationer er til stede, men ses sjældent. Fuglelivet i skoven er frodigt, og mange skovarter ses lettere her end andre steder på turistruten - Narina trogon og stanghaletrogon er begge mulige højdepunkter for besøgende fuglefolk, mens rækken af stærearter giver noget mindre prangende interesse. Efter 4 timers professionel guidet tur og efter at have set så mange dyreliv som muligt, er det tid til at forlade parken til Arusha by eller lufthavn.

The tour said "hotel or airport pickup" and I applied because there was Kilimanjaro International Airport on the list of pickup locations, but Kilimanjaro International Airport paid $80 in cash because it required an additional fee. Also, when I got the appointment time of 7am, they didn't pick me up, and when I contacted them, they said they hadn't heard from Vaitor, so they picked me up more than 40 minutes late.
Wonderful experience, Shiraz was so friendly and knowledgeablw, looked after us so well , was a great spotter and guide. Fabulous 👌
We had an extra day in Arusha before starting our Kilimanjaro hike, and this was the perfect half day excursion to get us out of the hotel without being too strenuous given the jet lag. Ben and Linus picked us up from our hotel to take us to the park. Ben left to arrange park payment fees and Linus drove us up to the park and gave us our tour. We saw baboons, blue monkeys, colobus monkeys, giraffes, zebras, Cape buffalo, warthogs, flamingos, and much more. We had a great time with our knowledgeable guide.
The trip was offered in German, which was also a booking criterion for us. But all in English. No information that the pick-up time is moving from 7.00 am to 1.00 pm
In the park there are mainly giraffes, zebras and warthogs. There are many flamingos and other waterfowl at the lake. Since there is a lot of woodland and otherwise often very dense bushes, animals were not as well observed here as in more open terrain. If you already have safari experience, you probably won't see any new highlights here. Although there are certainly elephants and also leopards. So that's what you should be prepared for. But it is a nice and varied tour. For the safari novice this is a great way to get started before heading to Tarangire and Ngorongoro

This was the best way to spend our free day in Arusha . We booked this early morning tour and our guide was prompt in picking us from our hotel. The vegetation is awesome and the sparsely populated monkeys jumping from tree to tree. Though not many animals, but everything was great
