Halvdagstur med bus til Vesuv i Pompeji
Beskrivelse
Vesuv, den stadig aktive vulkan, der i 79 e.Kr. ødelagde det gamle Pompeji. Vesuv har sin charme og fortjener at blive besøgt. En gruppetransfer fra Pompeji vil være mulig hver dag, som vil ankomme ved indgangen til Vesuvkrateret (1000m højde). Derfra kan du få adgang til stigningen på ca. at nå vulkanens højeste punkt og komme til at beundre både det betagende landskab og indersiden af krateret. Besøget vil være gratis, så på det fastsatte tidspunkt mødes vi ved ankomststedet for at vende tilbage til Pompeji. En virkelig unik oplevelse!! På vejen tilbage vil andre stop give tid til at tage billeder fra forskellige udsigtspunkter. Vesuv-parken er rig på naturressourcer, vulkanologisk historie, betagende landskaber, ældgamle dyrkninger og traditioner, der gør Vesuv-området til et af de mest fascinerende og mest besøgte steder i verden.

Udflugt: afgang fra Pompeji med en komfortabel minibus for at nå en højde på 1000 mt. Vi tager dig gennem Vesuvio National Park (etableret i 1995), som også er et UNESCO-biosfærereservat. Rejseplanen inkluderer fritid til at besøge krateret. På det højeste punkt vil du nyde godt af en spektakulær udsigt over hele regionen. På vejen tilbage vil andre stop give tid til at tage billeder fra forskellige udsigtspunkter.

We arrived in good time for a 3pm departure as printed on the voucher to be told the buses had departed at 1.30pm so we missed the trip. We were promised a refund as there was no mention anywhere in the documentation of the earlier departure. We booked another trip for the following day but unfortunately conditions were not as good the next day on Vesuvius so there were no views from the top.

The actual top of Vesuvius was incredible but paying all that money for the bus ride there... hmmmmm not sure about that. Plus, when I bought the tickets it said anyone under 18 pays the child price. I put my son's birthdate in and paid for 2 adult tickets and 1 child. When we got to the tour they gave us an upcharge of 20 Euros because they said I paid the incorrect amount for my son. Well, I paid what was on the Viator website! So we paid it but that was annoying. So overall, you're asking me to rate the tour which was basically just a bus ride. We had to hike up the volcano side on our own, no guide. Just told to meet back at the bus at a certain time. So this "Tour" is really bus fare and entry fee to the volcano, which I was upcharged for on the day of.

Great value trip. Minibus from central Pompeii to the coach park then a 45 minute (hard but well worth it) to the crater for excellent views.

We were very excited to see Mt Vesuvius. Unfortunately due to rain and fog the tour was canceled. We understand the weather can't be controlled. But they took 30 min to tell us that we were not going. Unfortunately by that time we were out of options. Thank you
