Halvdags Tour-Jaguar Jungle Survival - Amazon Rainforest - Fra Manaus

I had a great time spending a morning in the jungle with Lieutenant Araujo and his team. They were very friendly and hospitable, and were very patient in teaching survival skills such as setting traps, starting fires, and building shelters. They also showed me several plants and discussed their medicinal uses. The walking paths were fairly level and easy to navigate, so anyone with moderate physical health should be able to manage this experience easily. I highly recommend it for a unique way to spend a bit of time in the jungle while visiting Manaus.

Jeff and his team deserve more than a 5 star rating. They are the professionals with years of experience. Don’t be fooled with other tour companies. Jeff and his team kept my family safe during the whole time. There were 4 of us and 3 of them guiding us through the Amazon rainforest. When we started, we have a tour guide, when all said and done, we left with a friend and a brother. Thank you so much Jaguar Jungle for such a great experience. They are highly recommended!!

Starting off, words don’t do this experience justice. This was hands down the best tour on this list. Stop scrolling, and book it. It’s a personal tour, WHICH YOU WANT, while walking through the Amazon. Jackson & his team, treated us like family. He has 4 guys that help make the experience, once in a lifetime. We were taught how to set traps, what fruits to eat, how to start a fire, & SO much more. We also went swimming in a natural jacuzzi, as one of the best meals I’ve ever had, was being prepared in the middle of a rain forest. No biggie. I cannot wait to come back, with some of my family & do a 3 day adventure. I’m looking forward to continuing our friendship, as we make Manaus one of our favorite destinations. Thanks guys!! I took the tour with Lieutenant Araújo and his team. They are first-class professionals, reliable, serious work. Only this tour and what I learned from them has already been worth my entire stay at the Amazonas. Next time I bring my whole family to learn more from Jaguar, under the command of Lieutenant Araújo and his team of serious and distinguished professionals. Congratulations and thank you!!!!

We did the half day survival tour with Jaguar and had an amazing time. Communication beforehand with the company was great, pick up was on time. We took a boat out to the jungle site, and then had a 6-7km round trip hike through the jungle with stops to identify medicinal plants, set up traps, demonstrate different ways to make fire, and spot wildlife. We were lucky enough to see a wild armadillo and a toucan. The guides were very professional, came prepared with first aid kits and gear, and were very knowledgeable. It was a unique experience and our group was very happy we did the tour. Definitely wear good closed toe shoes and be covered up as there are ants and mosquitos, and you walk past some sharp plants, best to protect your skin.

Excellent show. Very good. I recommend you wear a cloth to clean the sweat because it is an intense sweater. If you are blessed you will receive at the end of the journey an intense rain to wash your soul and disconnect from the earthly plane.

After doing the typical tourist activities we wanted to experience something more “real” in the Amazonas and they recommended us Jaguar Jungle Tour. The problem was that we were leaving next day at the afternoon but Araujo and his team made ir supe easy for us by adapting the tour to our schedule and also provided us a place were we could shower and change before the took us to the airport. Without a doubt it has been a success to trust Jaguar Jungle Tour since we have been able to enjoy and learn a lot about survival in the Jungle feeling very save at all times. They have also cocked us a delicious fish, chicken and rice. Definitely it’s an activity worth living and highlight recommended for everyone.

We decided to make the half-day tour with overnight stays in the jungle and it was simply the best experience we had in the Amazon! We thank Lieutenant Araújo, Nildo and André for their professionalism, demonstration of survival techniques and for the incredible dinner in the moonlight and the sound of nature. Our igarapé bath was sensational! We love!
