Halvdags privat guidet tur til Himeji-slottet

Beskrivelse

Great guide. Very informative. He did communicate well. Enjoyed this trip. Well worth the visit. With a guide I believe I saw more than most people and learned a lot.
Thank you for booking with us and for your review. We are glad you enjoyed the tour and hope to see you again in a future trip to Japan!
Excellent visit to Himeji Castle guided by Mouloud. The castle was spectacular , though unsurprisingly busy on a sunny Sunday afternoon . Crowds were managed well. Mouloud really helped make the trip memorable with his friendly approach and infectious enthusiasm for Japanese political and Military history , his deep knowledge of which he conveyed to us with ease given his excellent command of English. Great morning out followed by a trip to the beach at Suma (not far on the train and on the way back to Osaka) as recommended by Mouloud👍
Thank you for booking with us and for your excellent review! We are glad you liked as the visit of Himeji Castle, high place of the Japanese History as Mouloud's friendly guidance. We are also happy to know you enjoyed the rest of the day at Suma Beach which is a delightful leasure place. We wish you a good rest of your trip to Japan and hope to see you again!
Our guide was very friendly, but didn’t speak very much English. He also mostly pointed to signs posted around Himeji castle instead of explaining. I think we would have had about the same experience walking around and reading ourselves.
Thank you, Zach, for your feedback. We are glad to hear that you found the guide friendly. We are sorry that the language barrier affected your general experience during the tour. We understand how important clear communication and in-depth explanations are during a tour. We will take your helpful review into consideration and pass your comments along to our team. We are continually working to improve our service, which includes the language skills and training of our guides, to make sure that our guests will enjoy a more engaging and informative experience. We thank you again for having shared your thoughts and hope you are having, or had, a good time in Japan.
I would not recommend this private tour. It was offered in English, however, our tour guide could hardly speak English. We asked him questions but he couldn’t explain anything to us, but rather pointed at the plaques for us to read. It was an expensive tour to have a guide who relied heavily on our reading of the plaques. Perhaps he should stick to giving French tours and not pretend that he doesn’t have command of the English language. We were highly disappointed and can NOT recommend this tour.
Dear Melissa, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re truly sorry to hear that your experience with our tour did not meet your expectations. We understand your disappointment regarding the language barrier. Our guide, Mouloud, informed us that he explained the historical facts about Himeji Castle, the city of Himeji, and Japanese history, and that he used the plaques to support what he had already conveyed verbally. That said, it’s clear from your feedback that the communication did not meet the level of clarity you expected, and we sincerely apologize for that. Mouloud has conducted many tours in English without prior issues, but we recognize that this time fell short. We take your comments seriously and will work to improve the clarity and fluency of our English-language tours to ensure a better experience for future guests. Thank you again for your honest feedback. We hope the rest of your trip in Japan was more enjoyable.
Mouloud was an amazing guide that really knows his history. We found the tour to be extremely informative and really appreciated the extra information we got from the tour. Highly recommended!

My wife & I went to Himeji Castle in Japan on April 7th 2024. We had an English speaking guide hired through Japan guide agency . Her name in Hiromi Mizoi...She is well versed with the History of the castle & her English explanation is very succinct to follow through. She climbs the narrow castle steps with vigor...We had a great time
