We had such a good time driving around this sweet little island, sipping wine along the way. Each winery was quite different from the others in architecture, personality, other foods available for sale, as well as the types of wine. One of them had a beautiful terrace out back that had a great view of Montmorency Falls across the river. Simply beautiful! Luc, our guide, was fantastic. He was lots of fun, was informative and quite chatty.

Our tour guide, Luc, was fantastic! From the moment he picked us up at our door step in to when he dropped us off. Very personable, engaging and knowledgeable about the history of the island and Quebec City. We adjusted our itinerary slightly to spend a little more time at a winery while enjoying the nice weather. Highly recommend this tour!

We had a wonderful time on this tour. Totally worth it if you are in Quebec City. Isabelle was a fantastic tour guide. She gave us a fabulous tour of the island and some interesting history. We never felt rushed and she gave us options based on our interest. I highly recommend Isabelle for a tour that is well worth your time.

It was a terribly busy weekend (Thanksgiving) when we visited, so every place was packed and so all the tastings were self-led except for some very kind people at the cider distillery who made time to answer out questions. Our main problem with this tour was that our driver, while very attentive and accommodating, was not very functional in English although this was booked for an English speaking guide. He tried very hard, but he could not understand our questions so the interaction was quite frustrating for us. I hope we were polite to him about it, but the tour company needs to do a better job of screening guides for their language skills. I don't fault the driver as he was given a difficult task. We weren't there to teach English, and we didn't get the kind of background information we were expecting. Again, I'm sure this was due to crowds and the limited availability of guides as a result, but I would not repeat this tour without underscoring that by English, we someone who can understand English as well as do some broken speaking.

You are absolutely right that Thanksgiving weekend is one of the busiest times of the year in Québec City, and the high visitor volume unfortunately made it more difficult for our partner venues to offer guided tastings. We fully recognize that clear communication is essential. While some of our chauffeurs may speak English with a French accent, as it is their second language, they are continuously improving to better serve our English-speaking guests. We truly value your understanding and patience in this regard, and we will take your comments to heart to further strengthen this aspect of our service. We also appreciate your kindness toward our driver during such a busy period and your understanding of the circumstances. Excellent trip with Gilles to the island and wineries. He was a great driver and changed our itinerary so that we had more time at the chocolate shop and took us to a nice overlook of Quebec City. A delightful trip! Enjoyed our day in ile de Orleans.
