Halvdags luksus motoryacht krydstogt i Granada

Beskrivelse

In the harbour Lq Herradura the boatman was already waiting for us – a man with eighteen years of experience at sea. Our travelling companions were a motley group: two Americans, two Germans and two Englishmen. And then it sounded: off we go! The blue sea spread out before us, with fish popping up for a moment, imposing rock formations and idyllic beaches slowly passing by. By the clock of five o'clock we sailed back into the harbour. End well, all good. Ship ahoy! ⚓️
Bedankt voor je 5-sterrenrecensie, we vinden het leuk om verschillende nationaliteiten aan boord te hebben, dus kom snel weer terug om nog meer te genieten van het zeilen.
Thank you for the great hours. It was fantastic and the food super delicious. We can only recommend it. It was a really nice trip. We were lucky and could even watch dolphins.
Gern geschehen und danke für die Bewertung.
From the first point of contact with Nedy in the office ( Nedy was absolutely excellent) to then speaking and having the pleasure to meeting the owner Mike in person to sharing the trip with our crew, Dan and Juanjo on the Yacht the whole experience was amazing . I would highly recommend SailnPlay . Thank you all for such a memorable day and thank you Mike for the MUGA cap 😉😉
Thanks for taking the time to review us, delighted you had an excellent time and if the cap fits........wear it!
A welcoming crew and comfortable boat both of which will look after you and make you feel good. The warm sea makes this an excellent time of year to experience the beautiful Costa Tropical at it's best. We took a morning trip which I recommend as it is cooler. Parking is an issue at the Marina, especially later in the day, so we hired the minibus.
Thanks for your review Neils, great advice to the about the minibus too.
Absolutely perfect, great boat and Miles and JJ were great hosts. Very relaxed and food amazing!! We even saw some dolphins which was a bonus….
Thank you Richard, and hope to see you again soon.
We booked this to celebrate my god-daughter's 18th birthday. The skipper and crew were so welcoming and hospitable. The food and drinks were excellent and the trip was great fun, stopping at the waterfall in Maro and other points so we could swim and have dinner. The sunset was sensational. Thank you for a great time.
Welcoming, excellent, great fun......sensational sunset. Thanks for your review! See you again soon we hope,
We booked this boat trip a week in advance and were really looking forward to it. On the day, we noticed on our drive to the marina that the sea was quite choppy. Upon arrival, we were surprised to hear the trip was still going ahead despite the conditions. The first 90 minutes at sea were extremely rough—so much so that it felt unsafe at times. We had four children under the age of 10 with us, and sadly, their first boating experience was a frightening one due to the rough conditions. That said, the skipper and deckhand were both professional, friendly, and prepared an excellent meal, which we truly appreciated. Unfortunately, we barely made it out of the marina before docking for the next four hours, which was disappointing considering what the trip promised. There was no evening cruise booked on this day, and by the time we returned, the sea was noticeably calmer. I politely asked the owner, Mike Shaw Roberts, whether there might be a possibility to rebook at a discounted rate so we could enjoy the full experience in better conditions. Instead of engaging in a reasonable conversation, he dismissed the idea entirely and sarcastically compared it to asking EasyJet to reschedule a flight. This response felt completely inappropriate and unnecessarily defensive. He also claimed he couldn’t see the sea conditions from his marina office and downplayed the Nerja waterfall (which is advertised as a highlight of the trip) as just a “running tap.” The trip could be enjoyable if the sea is calm and if you don’t need to engage with the owner. But if conditions are rough, and you have children or safety concerns, I would advise caution. While the crew was fantastic, the owner’s attitude was shockingly poor and unprofessional.
I am sorry you felt it necessary to raise issues of safety and customer service, but at least it allows me to address these issues for the clarity of other guests who read these comments. We have a safety limit for wind of 20kts. The day you sailed with us, July 21, the wind peaked at 15kts, the records are public and can be checked. So it was well inside our safety limits. I received a report from the crew, in which they stated that they took you across La Herradura Bay, during which time your children were having fun with the residual swell from much stronger winds over the previous 2 days (which HAD resulted in us cancelling trips). You say you were surprised the trip went ahead, yet when you visited the office prior to your trip you never questioned the weather, you merely wanted to check whether there would be enough “free beer” for your thirsty husbands, something our young female receptionist thought odd! The customer service issues you raise here are not about customer service, they are about my reaction to being verbally abused after your trip by a group of drunk adults in front of their bewildered and embarrassed children, in an attempt to obtain a discounted trip later in the week. Some members of your party were heard to use abusive and threatening language by other guests waiting for a lift back to Nerja in our minibus, and your party have also since placed some disgraceful comments on Google, most of which, thankfully, Google have removed for various breaches of their guidelines. So, in summary, after 18 years and 55,000 and 99.9% happy customers, our safety standards are second to none, as is our customer service, and if you can´t enjoy a drink without becoming loud and embarrassing in front of your young children, book a trip with someone else because we don´t want to be any part of that.
We had a fab time as normal with the great lads on the boat we have been a few times with them fantastic food super service and well worth the money we had our wedding party on there over 10 years ago with 40 people and 4 boats all fabulous it hasn’t changed great staff many thanks steve and su
Many thanks Steve and Su for paying us yet another visit, delighted to hear we still have it in us to provide 100% on every trip! Behind the scenes we do all work very hard to maintain those high standards, so its great to have that recognized.
The sunset cruise had begun with an awful weather, misty, a pale sun. But as soon as we got on board our two skippers (Captain Matt and Second Officer Miles) made us at ease with a nice welcome drink. Then they cast the anchor in a couple of nice bays where we could swim and snorkel. And while we were having a perfect nice dinner, while looking at the sunset, the miracle happened: first a couple of dolphins, then two with a calf, then an entire pod, maybe more than one, surrounding our boat and playing with us. It was incredible. Also thanks to Matt and Miles who knew how to gently drive the boat among all those dolphins without scaring them. The atmosphere on board was great, everybody was excited and we shared all the excitement with the skippers. They are young, but already great at sea and they know how to be perfect hosts aboard.
Wow, what a great evening you had, in spite of beginning it in bad weather. Just goes to show the weather here on the Costa Tropical can be very changeable and tropical! Trust your crew!!
10 of us on the boat - two families with kids from 8-17yrs. We wanted to snorkel, so we cruised for 1hr, stopped for two hours to snorkel, lunch & play on the paddleboard, then cruised back. Both JJ and Jose were friendly and welcoming and they chose a good place for the snorkelling. Lunch was very decent. All in all, a lovely 4 hours.
Thank you for your review Antonia, and we hope to see you again soon.
