Vores første stop vil være på en ranch for at ride på hesteryg, derefter vil vi gå til basilikaen Higüey, og vi vil også besøge markedet, hvor de indfødte sælger deres landbrugsprodukter. Vi spiser en lækker frokost med typisk mad i Ana mulla-floden, derefter går vi til et typisk hus, hvor kaffe, kakao og Mama Juana høstes og forarbejdes, vi skal på en tobaksfabrik og en kunstskole. Vi afslutter turen på Macao-stranden, hvor du kan bade. og derefter tilbage til dit hotel.

We had an amazing time with Justo, Franklin, and Robinson. Justo was an amazing driver and made us feel like family the entire time! Franklin and Robinson were amazing tour guides! They explain everything in such great detail and made such we were well informed on all the sites! A 10/10 experience, I highly recommend doing this tour!!!
We had a great experience with Darwin, our tour guide. He was very attentive and gave us a lot of information. We enjoyed ourselves with the horseback riding, learning about the market place, the Church, having an authentic lunch experience in a lush, jungle area, and then learning about cocoa and coffee. Then we ended the day at a beautiful beach, the waves were perfect. I recommend this excursion.
Darwin was the best guide! He took very good care of our family. We felt safe and learned a lot about all the sites we stopped at. The day did not feel long and the lunch was the best food! Highly recommend!
Excellent experience and journey of the Dominican Republic. Darwin was fantastic, very knowledgeable, kind, and patient. He looks out for his guests. It was a packed experience and we journeyed through the market, rode horses, had a wonderful lunch in a scenic location, learned about coffee, cocoa, and cigar making, and spent time at a beautiful beach. I highly recommend this tour solo or with family. You will not be disappointed.
Great places to visit, surprisingly enjoyed the cigar factory a lot. The souvenir store was a bit crowded so it wasn’t the most pleasant and I thought we’d shop the fruit market but we breezed through. Overall we enjoyed it
This was one of the best excursions I’ve ever done. The driver and guide (Tito and Theo) were amazing. They explained everything and waited for us through every section of the tour. It was a small group and felt very personal. I would highly recommend this trip for everyone. Worth every penny.
Overall not a bad experience but not completely happy. Definitely worth for the money. Tour was advertised as 5 hours but it took 10 hours. 2 hours was spent in the van picking other guests. Traffic accounted for another 1 hour. Proper time management by the tour guide could have reduced the tour time by atleast 2 more hours. We couldn’t go inside the church since a mass was going on. Tour guide did not provide enough history of the town or any places we visited. We wasted one hour in a gift shop that was a complete waste of time and 30 mins at a beach. Horse riding at ranch was a good experience. Market was filthy but gave a good experience of real experience of the island. We just walked through it and didn’t stop to buy. Tour guide Robinson was friendly but he could improve his English and provide more history of the island. Not a very memorable trip.

Regarding the duration, while the experience is listed as approximately 5 hours, pickup and drop-off times can vary depending on hotel locations and traffic conditions, especially in Punta Cana. We understand that this can make the day feel longer, and we are continuously working to optimize our routes. Unfortunately, access to the Basilica depends on the church’s schedule. When a Mass is taking place, visitors are not allowed inside out of respect for the religious service, which is beyond our control. We also appreciate your comments about the explanations during the tour, the gift shop stop, and time management. It was a nice day tour. Wester was a wonderful tour guide. Very cooperative and helpful who drove the vehicle very carefully. I have one suggestion to improve. Give a time window of 5-10 mins for pickup. Customers waiting for about an hour is not appreciated by anyone.
If you’re interested in culture, local traditions, and history, this is a tour you absolutely shouldn’t miss. The pace was comfortable and never felt exhausting. Our guide, Teo, was exceptional - his time management was outstanding, and the entire itinerary was organized perfectly. Everything ran smoothly, and he went above and beyond to accommodate the needs of everyone in the group. The fellow travelers on this tour were wonderful as well, which made the experience even more enjoyable. It was a memorable journey, and I’ll look back on it with great fondness. Highly recommended!
Just enough of everything to get an understanding of the DR and its culture. Dayo was a great guide-offered just enough information but not too much.
