My ATV tour was simply spectacular! From the start, the team was very professional, with friendly and clear instructors who gave us all the safety precautions before we started. The vehicles were in perfect condition and easy to handle, even for beginners like me.

We were a group of 14 people to celebrate my birthday and had a lot of fun. In truth this excursion is very diverse. And very trained staff. Hope to be back soon
This tour is too fun, you will love it if you want to enjoy adrenaline and nature this is what you need
If I could rate ZERO. Worst trip ever booked. 2 hour ride in a cattle truck/bus smelling exhaust fumes in 38 deg weather. Once we got to the “ranch”. Accident waiting to happen…. none of the helmets had working adjustments, you sat in a line of buggies sucking exhaust fumes for 15 min while they literally hot wired Every buggy. None had working seat belts (they tied mine to the floor rail Because the anchor broke), they used a pair of pliers to kick it into gear, the brakes literally took both feet to hold it from moving forward. During the excursion at least 4 buggies broke down in our group , mine had the throttle stick wide open and I had to hit a fence in a parking lot to stop. The “coffee” place was them talking for 5 min about them getting coffee and trying to sell $10 jars of coffee. Next the cave. We got to the mouth of the cave. About 6 people from our group jumped in and then they came yelling at us to go. Time is UP! I didn’t get to swim. We got the beach and we were swarmed with soliciting OMG that wouldn’t stop. $15 pineapples. Ugh. The mud runs, we’re literally little puddles here and there. What a waste of money. Don’t waste your time.
Hello, this comment does not resemble the reality of the tours, all buggies have a belt, our authorities do not allow you to leave without a belt, the same as helmets. About the piña colada in the plaza or vendors have nothing to do with our company, but rather they are street vendors, the same as where they sell coffee, the customer buys if they want, bone is not mandatory since they are people outside the company they sell to help themselves
wonderful very good service very nice tour. you just have to wear comfortable clothes and ready to have fun
We had a group of 7 people and had a fantastic time. Our transportation too and from the facility was on time, but the actual bus looked like a safari bus. During the tour we were taken to the beach and a few other places and had a ball. We did experience issues with the ATVs shutting off on people, but the guides were right there to help. I would definitely book with them again.
When I researched Steffy Tours originally on TripAdvisor, I only saw the higher rated site and not this one - which is spot on as to all of the "1" reviews. They were great with the communications until we got to Punta Cana then...nothing. After numerous phone calls to them the night before to confirm that they would be at our hotel the next day for pick up, a woman finally answered and, although they had told us by email that it would be at 11:05 a.m., she now said it would be at 10:20 a.m. We arrived at the lobby at 10:10 a.m. just to make sure we would not be late and, as we watched group after group, couple after couple be picked up by their tour operators, we were still sitting there an hour later. I called and called - when she finally answered she said "20 minutes". After the 20 minutes, I called again numerous times and she just hung up on me numerous times. I called again and then she must have taken the phone off the hook. It was now close to 11:30 a.m., the lobby was now empty and no Steffy Tours. One on the bellhops decided to call on our behalf and - surprise, surprise - she answered his local call on the first ring. She then told him that our transportation was finally there but could not get in. The reason why security would not let them in was that Steffy Tours did not send any communications to our hotel (secured all-inclusive) that they'd be coming to pick us up even though we booked roughly three weeks in advance. They let the driver through and I had read (after booking) about the broken down condition of the transportation and that on one occasion the driver had to stop to get gas - I thought that this was an exception, but it turned out to be true for us as well! It was an open air transport vehicle that clearly needed maintenance and "treated" us to more bumps and thumps, ups and downs than the actual ATV's did. Also, after finally picking everyone up, the driver did go to the gas station where he went from one pump to another and at each pump the attendant at that pump would shake their head "no" and point him to the next pump - no one would let him get gas! We then left the gas station and, while beginning to get on the highway, we started to slow down and then stopped in the emergency lane. We thought we had run out of gas but the driver must have forgotten a pick up because a car soon pulled up to transfer a customer. Out of the six couples on this tour, five of us received little/no communications from Steffy Tours and we were all left sitting for at least an hour before pickup. Once we arrived at the ATV provider, they were really good and we all had a good time. If you can't get into Punta Cana to do some shopping, make sure to bring some money for purchases because you will make at least three stops where there are numerous vendors selling their wares. Steffy Tours was so bad, bottom of the barrel, and unpredictable, I booked another tour with La Hacienda Park for $99/p.p. (ATV with Steffy cost us $65/p.p.) which included round trip transportation in an air conditioned van, with lunch, zip lining, horseback riding and dune buggies, as an apology to my husband because Steffy Tours was one of his birthday gifts and I really felt bad! La Hacienda saved the day!!! So, buyer beware - you might luck up and get the 5 star treatment or you might get our 1 star treatment - it appears you have a 50/50 chance!
