Hvis du gerne vil lære Amsterdam at kende på et dybere plan, så er du helt sikkert på rette sted! Jordaan er Amsterdams sjæl, dets historie, traditioner og sans for humor. Hvorfor? For her kan du finde alle de skatte, som Amsterdamboerne omhyggeligt gemmer for turisterne - hyggelige værfter, smukke kunstgallerier, lokale, hyggeligt siddende med deres kop kaffe eller en daglig avis, der nyder solskinnet, det bedste lørdagsmarked og masser af andre hemmelige steder ! Vi vil se mange vigtige ting på vores vej, såsom det smalleste hus, det hollandske vestindiske hus, masser af dejlige husbåde og det eneste flydende kattehjem i verden! Vi ses snart! Amsterdam Centraal station er vores mødested. Denne bygning er berømt for sit fantastiske interiør, ydre og historiske omgivelser! Der vil vi gerne fortælle mere om Jordaans historie – vores destination;
Amsterdam Canal Ring Berømt kanalring - lad os tage et kig på storslåede købmandshuse bygget i det 17. århundrede og hyggelige husbåde! Sammen med dig vil vi opdage mere om hollandsk kolonisering, Hollands flådehistorie og betydningsfulde personer fra gamle tider! Når vi slentrer langs kanalerne, finder vi det smalleste hus, det hollandske vestindiske hus, og så farer vi vild i de hyggelige gårdhaver! Vi vil opdage noget lokal kunst, besøge den "brune" bar og endda smage den bedste æbletærte, som var meget værdsat af Bill Clinton!
De Poezenboot er det eneste flydende katteinternat i verden. Her vil vi fortælle dig om hollandske holdninger til kæledyr og dele nogle fakta om Amsterdam som en dyrelivsvenlig by.
Lutherske kirke, Noorderkerk og Westerkerk - lad os se nærmere på de majestætiske kirker, hvor du kan finde ud af mere om 80-årskrigen, dens konsekvenser og moderne holdning til religion;
Noordermarkt - livlig markedsplads i hjertet af Jordaan-distriktet! Der vil vi finde ud af mere om lokalhistorie, traditioner, optøjer og andre vigtige begivenheder, som gjorde dette område så forskelligt fra alle de andre! Pladsen bliver især travl om lørdagen, når bondens marked indtager sin plads her. Det bedste sted at smage hollandske delikatesser, såsom sild, østers eller ost!
Jordaan er også kendt som et af de mest kreative distrikter i Amsterdam. Derfor vil vi gerne præsentere dig for nogle lokale kunstgallerier, designbutikker og et usædvanligt labyrinthotel, som vil blæse dit sind!
Westerkerk & Anna Franks hus - hvor vi gerne vil fortælle om den jødiske diaspora og Anden Verdenskrig. Vigtig! Denne tur inkluderer ikke besøget på Anna Frank Museum.

Maria was spectacular, shes very knowledgable about the city. We walked, talked, got some coffee and explored the JORDAAN area. She knows her architecture, the differing neighborhoods and the people who live there. She was such a delight in every way. I look forward to more tours with her in the future. I highly recommend her

We wanted to get a tour of Jordaan during a market day so this was a perfect tour for us. Our lovely guide Maria was flexible in adjusting to our family of 4 and also gave us time to explore the market on our own and the opportunity to enjoy some local treats. She was very knowledgeable, accommodating and flexible.

Nice and relaxing tour - we did it as a private option. Maria was flexible and accommodated our request for a meeting spot closer to our hotel. She was very knowledgeable about the area and we learned quite a bit about the Dutch culture in general. Overall I would definitely recommend this tour with Maria if you are in Amsterdam.

It was one of more than 10 tours for discovering beautiful Netherlands with Snurk.Travel and professional guide Anastasia Afonina. I would say- somehow the helped me to find a second home: when the Ukrainian war started - I didn’t think too much where to relocate my family as aa”safe harbour” - i was already in love with Netherlands. And although now i live here - i still allocate time for discovering this beautiful country and close neighbourhood with the same agency and same guide , as they earned trust and respect.

We did the tour with Sasha and it was really amazing He took us through different parts of the city, along the canals, and could give many interesting insights, both on new developments in the city, and its rich history. During the tour, we also had time to sit down at a small cafè and enjoy a typical Dutch apple pie. Sasha could answer all of our questions, would offer us different routes, depending on where we wanted to finish the tour, and was just very knowledgeable about the whole city. The tour was also really interactive, less of a presentation and more of just a conversation between us, which we also really enjoyed. We would really recommend this tour to anyone interested in learning more about Amsterdam in a personal setting.
