En privat tur med en indfødt chauffør er altid en speciel ting for en, der kommer for at besøge Monserrat, der ønsker at grine og have det sjovt.

El Bruc, en lille malerisk by beliggende på de sydlige skråninger af bjerget, med et 10-minutters stop for at nyde panoramaudsigten og dens tinders særlige morfologi. Vi går forbi statuen / monumentet dedikeret til "Timbaler" (helten fra modstanden mod Napoleon)
Kloster/kloster fra det XI århundrede. Når vi har krydset den nordlige skråning, ankommer vi til det lille kloster i romansk stil, hvor vi vil sætte pris på dets storslåede arkitektur, og der vil være mulighed (til fods 5 minutter) for at værdsætte udsigten over Sant Benet og hele dalen med Pyrenæerne i baggrunden.
Vi ankommer til klosteret, hvor du har fri tid til at besøge kirken med billedet af den sorte jomfru, Cataloniens skytshelgen.
Vi vil se facaden på dette museum beliggende i en højde af 720 meter over havets overflade

Sammen med den hellige hule er det den mest tilgængelige bjergeremitage i Montserrat. Det er godt forbundet med klostret takket være kabelbanen de San Juan og Camino de las Ermitas, som har brede og godt brolagte sektioner.
Vi vender tilbage ad den snoede vej på nordsiden, krydser Sant Benet-klostret, ser de spektakulære lodrette mure og ankommer til den smukke by Monistrol, krydset af Llobregat-floden og tilbage til oprindelsen.

Awesome tour with James! Our personal tour of Monserrat with James was phenomenal! He was so easy to work with and graciously accommodated our requests with stops at El Bruc and Santa Cecilia de Montserrat; a visit to the Throne Room of Our Lady of Montserrat; attending a concert by the Escolania de Montserrat Boys’ Choir; and hiking the paved path from the Saint Joan Funicular! James was an outstanding driver and host for our private half-day tour to Montserrat. From the moment he picked us up at our hotel, he was punctual, professional, and genuinely friendly. Our group of six hired James for a half day tour of the Monserrat Monastery near Barcelona. The Monastery and Black Madonna were amazing and James provided excellent background information at each of our stops. The scenery alone is worth the trip!

Monserrat is a must visit with the black Madonna if you have time during your Spain vacation. We really enjoyed our time with Jaime and the trip up to Montserrat. He provided information as we drove through Barcelona up to Montserrat — current and historic information about the city and its people. (It was January so quite cold, and he even gave one of our girls his coat to use…he went above and beyond!). The area was beautiful and I understand why so many locals escape for the day to hike and enjoy the views. If you are going to Montserrat, I would highly suggest Jaime, and especially if you are in a group!

Easy ride from Barcelona. Car was spacious and comfortable. James explained everything about Montserrat and arranged for tickets for us to see the Madonna. The site is beautiful and definitely well worth the trip. Overall, it was a pricey experience to have a driver otherwise would have given it a 5.

The car was spacious and comfortable; James had great tips for what we should do in Monserrat and even went ahead and secured us tickets to see the Black Madonna while we were there.
