Kom og udforsk de afrikanske pingviners fantastiske skønhed i deres naturlige habitat. Fra uberørte strande, bjerge, naturskønne køreture, lokal ristet kaffe til de afrikanske pingviner.

Kører langsomt langs kysten med Bo-kaap bag os. Vores rejse tager os gennem nogle af Afrikas mest posh forstæder. Bantry bay er en af dem. En forstad ved havet gemt op på de vestlige skråninger af det verdensberømte Lions hovedbjerg. Ifølge meteorolog er Bantry bay den eneste forstad i Cape Town, der ikke er påvirket af de sydøstlige vinde, som Cape Town regelmæssigt oplever, og alt dette takket være Lions hoved. Bantry Bay har over 260 vindfrie dage om året, og det er et betydeligt antal i betragtning af Cape Town's blæsende klima.
Ved siden af Bantry-bugten ligger Camps-bugten. En anden overdådig forstad til søs, der er præget af den populære hvide sandlejrbugtstrand og de tolv apostlers bjergkæde. Gæsterne får mulighed for at træde ud af køretøjet og nyde den smukke udsigt og tage billeder af, hvad mands hånd og natur har blandet sig til et mesterværk.
Kort 20 minutter fra lejrene ligger Hout Bay. En smuk by omgivet af dramatiske bjerge på alle sider. Hout-bugten er hollandsk til træbugt, og historiebøger siger, at det er her det hollandske østindiske firma engang plejede at hente tømmer til bygning af bosættelser og skibe. Hout-bugten er også kærligt kendt som Republikken Hout-bugten. De dramatiske bjerge, der omgiver byen, isolerer byen fra alle andre byer og efterlader bilisten kun en måde at få adgang til denne by, og det er ved at køre over bjergpas.
Når vi har haft vores rimelige andel af sæler og souvenirmarkeder i Hout bay havn. Vores rejse genoptages langs den stenede kystlinje via en af de mest imponerende og naturskønne bjergsider i Kap. Chapman's Peak-drev. Den udråbte ingeniørstolthed Chapmans topdrev træder fra nord til syd på kanten af Chapmans peak-bjerge, der falder ned i havet som en lavine. Der er udsigt til picnicsteder og hvilesteder, hvor gæsten får mulighed for at hoppe ud af bilen og Nyd skønheden gennem de blotte øjne og / eller kameralinser.
Skulle turen ikke stoppe ved havnen i Hout Bay. Gæst har mulighed for at stoppe ved Noordhoek gårdlandsby. Lige ved den sydlige ende af Chapmans peak-drev og fyldt med berømte kaffebarer, råjuicebutikker, bagerier og souvenirbutikker. Gæst vil måske også benytte lejligheden til at bruge toilettet inden den lange strækning mod Kap med godt håb.
Boulders Beach er hjemsted for den truede afrikanske pingvin. Det er også en af de eneste 2 fastlands-pingvinkolonier i Sydafrika. Da de blev opført på den røde liste over truede arter, blev en strandpromenade konstrueret for at begrænse for meget menneskelig afbrydelse ved pingvinkolonien. Dog kan gæst stadig komme meget tæt på pingvinen og komme tæt på billeder, omend uden at skulle stå på stranden, men strandpromenaden.
Simons by, der er bygget i viktoriansk stil, er hjemsted for Sydafrikas flåde. Byen er også kendt for at være et hot-spot for frisk fisk og skaldyr. (Gæst kan også spise frokost her afhængigt af guideens skøn på dagen)
Kalk Bay Town for Lime Stone Bay er kendt for at være Sydafrikas ældste feriebyer. Gemt mellem havet og bjergene. Kalk Bay er strålende med stilfulde bygninger fra midten af 1800-tallet. Man kan godt lide at udforske Kalk Bays restauranter, kunstgallerier, teatre, cubanske cigarbarer eller endda de friske fiskemarkeder, hvis der er tid.
Muizenberg er den sidste by langs den falske bugtkyst, inden han kører tilbage til Cape Town. En surfers tilflugtssted. Muizenbergs over 14 km lange strand er stille populær blandt almindelige strandbesøgere, svømmere og surfere. Vandet er varmere end i Cape Town. Bugten er lav og gør svømning sjov og surfene er ensartede og en himmel for surfere. Langs stranden er der også farverige hytter, der skaber god fotografering. (Vær opmærksom på, at stop ved stranden kun er mulig i betragtning af, at der er fri strøm af trafik på dagen)

We had a great time with Leticia! She was on time, knowledgeable, friendly and patient with us! We saw the penguins, giant waves, ostriches, cormorants. She took pictures of us and helped us avoid the crowds. An awesome tour, and great guide!

We did a half day tour of Cape Point, Cape of good hope and Boulder’s beach with the guide Nuria. It was great. Nuria was patient, funny and intelligent. We stopped in all of the places that were planned, she knew the history of all of them to tell us. We had a great time with her!!!

Very nice tour! Everything exactly as advertised and we had plenty of time to see the penguins and also had a drive thorough of chapmans drive. The penguins had babies and the views were great! The tour guide was also a local and had a lot of great insights and also recommended other activities to do around 🙂

The most incredible experience with Dona! My 9 year old and I loved our day. From learning about the different areas of Cape Town, the history, the penguins and Chapmans Peak and to the Cape of Good Hope- everything was wonderful. It's seldom that a tour guide is better than the tour but Leticia made that possible. From pick-up to dropoff the entire experience was sublime. She was punctual, hilarous, knowladgeable, and patient. We went to all the stops we were hoping to go to, everything was explained clearly, and our pics turned out fantastic. The penguins were so cute, but getting to experience Cape Town with Leticia which is a local and proud of her town was the real treat. I wanna hang with Leticia again!

This was an excellent tour to see the penguins and the Cape of Good Hope. Dona, our guide was fantastic. Seeing the penguins was great, but watching the sunset at the Cape of Good Hope was the highlight. Would recommend this tour to anyone.
