It was a beautiful night for a ghost tour! Our tour guide, June, was knowledgeable, and she was excited to share her Halifax ghost stories. My husband, daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter all thoroughly enjoyed our tour and walk along the boardwalk and we all learned a little something about Halifax’s past. An ice cream along the way topped off the tour.
I wanna start this by saying this review has nothing against my tour guide, she seemed like a genuine nice lady. I was under the impression that this was a detailed tour where you visited haunted spots in Halifax focused on ghost stories and history of the city when I booked it, but turned out, we just walked on the boardwalk (I’ve been walking the same route every day since I’m here) and she just talked about generic things that I already knew/already read in the maritime museum. I gotta be honest, I saw a group of people doing a haunted tour on the day I booked this, that one seemed more like what I was expecting… also, I only booked this after seeing that specific group on the Civic Hill. So I wouldn’t recommend this to the people who want a tour that has more depth. One advantage is you get a free Cows ice cream on them!

If you know any information at all about the titanic or history in NS in general, this is not for you. All the information I pretty much knew going into this. And they mostly talked about the history side of things. And only talked about the haunted island there was no more mention of ghost stories, which was the main reason me and my friend went on this tour. The tour guide female seems a little inexperienced as she lead the tour, the male accompanying her was more knowledgeable and spoke clearer.
