Denne halvdags vandretur af flere UNESCO World Heritage Sites i Beijing, skal se kulturarv attraktioner i Beijing. Begynd med at se på monumenterne på Tiananmen-pladsen, og besøg derefter det enorme forbudte bykompleks med din dygtige guide. Vælg vores guide på dit hotel mellem kl. 8 og 13 eller mød guiden på mødestedet kl. 7: 40 eller 13: 00. Gå derefter til Tiananmen Square, verdens største offentlige torv af denne art. Beliggende i hjertet af Beijing City, er det stedet for massive parader og rallyer.Dette var stedet, da i 1949, fra en tribune på Tiananmen (porten til himmelsk fred), præsident Mao proklamerede oprettelsen af Folkerepublikken Kina. Af sikkerhedsmæssige årsager er Tiananmen-pladsen et indhegnet torv omgivet af lavt jerngitter med fire hovedindgange - øst, vest, syd og nord. Pladsen er nu åben for offentligheden indtil solnedgang, men alle turister skal gennemgå en sikkerhedskontrol, før de kommer ind på pladsen. Så kontrolpunkter er blevet oprettet ved alle indgange, der fører til pladsen.
Se et glimt udenfor Memorial Hall of Chairman Mao, Monumentet til Folkets Heltes, Den Storslåede Storhedshal, Folkemuseet i Kina, Den Gamle Zhengyang Gate og Arrow Tower samt Tiananmen Tower, der fører til den velkendte forbudte by.
Gå videre til kejserpaladset, også kendt som den "forbudte by", den største og bedst bevarede gamle kejserlige paladsgruppe med 500 års historie. Vi vil købe billet på forhånd for at springe over linjen. Slottet blev bygget mellem 1406 og 1420, men blev brændt ned, genopbygget, fyret og renoveret utallige gange, så det meste af den arkitektur du kan se i dag stammer fra 1700'erne og fremefter. Du vil have en højdepunkter tur i den forbudte by. Derefter afslutter du turen ved den nordlige udgang fra den forbudte by. Execellent half day trip to these amazing sites. Jeffrey is a very knowledgeble and experienced guide and planned very well the visiting of the famous landmarks despite the busy times . It was a very informative and pleasant trip and I enjoyed it very much!

It was a small group of 4 We were picked up at a good location and everything went smoothly Sophia was great well informed and took us at our pace. Definitely recommend.

Fantastic trip for the day. We chose this as our day 1 trip to get up and used to the time change after a long flight. Lucy was amazing as she kept our group together and taught us about the history of the forbidden city as well as recent discoveries. She had a good sense of humour as well which made the trip even more fun. I would recommend this trip if you wish to learn about the history of the forbidden city but to also stretch your legs and get moving for the day.

Thorough and excellent forbidden city tour, however we only drove past the Tianmen square and did not enter as expected, which was a little disappointing. We were told this is due to significant lines at the square to enter. We will have to book a trip to the square soon.

Our tour guide Lisa was great! She picked us up from our hotel in the morning, helped us navigate the hectic lines and security at Tiananmen Square, provided historical insight at the Forbidden City, and took us on a nice stroll through Jingshan Park! A very enriching experience
