Halvdagstur til Macocha Abyss og Punkva Caves

På en halv dag besøger du barokkirken, udforsker Punkva-grotterne og Macocha-afgrunden, og hvis der er tid tilbage, kan du prøve tjekkiske traditionelle retter. Punkva-hulerne er en af fem store huler i den moraviske Karst nær BRNO i Tjekkiet, som er åbne for offentligheden hele året rundt. En del af turen til hulerne er til fods og den anden del er i elektrisk båd, hvilket gør det unikt. Når vi mødes vil jeg give dig en AUDIO fil (via Whats Up) på engelsk, der beskriver den guidede tur, da du vil være en del af en guidet tur på tjekkisk. Turen er sikker, oplyst og derfor er der ingen grund til at bekymre sig om nogen vanskeligheder.

Nyd en populær halvdagstur til Punkva-hulerne og Macocha Abyss, som ligger omkring 33 km nordøst for BRNO. Det kombinerer en smule arkitektur i en lille landsby Křtiny med en smuk barokkirke. Landsbyen ligger på grænsen til naturreservatet Moravian Karst. Det er en lillebitte landsby med en KÆMPE barokkirke. Det er faktisk chokerende, når du kører ind i landsbyen og ser dette gigantiske barokke pilgrimssted, Jomfru Marias kirke og andre bygninger, der udgør dette præmonstratensiske kloster, som positivt dominerer landskabet. Du ved med det samme, hvorfor den omtales som "Mährens perle". Der er også et ossuarium under kirken med tolv kranier med bogstavet "T" malet på.
Derefter besøger vi den moraviske karst fuld af huler, besøger Macocha afgrunden, Punkva Cave, (ÅBENT ALLE ÅR) hvor du vil deltage i en time lang guidet tur på tjekkisk (du kan downloade engelsk oversættelse ved indgangen til hulerne). Sørg for at medbringe varme tøj, da temperaturen året rundt er plus 6 C. I slutningen af turen er der en dejlig overraskelse for dig, men jeg fortæller dig ikke. Dem, der nyder let 20 minutters gang kan gå tilbage til den vigtigste parkeringsplads.

Helena was a great host. Very friendly and kind. Knows a lot about the area and was very flexible. I brought my dad to Europe to have surgery so I was travelling by myself while not at the hospital. I really enjoyed having someone to spend time with and tell me about the area.

Helen was our tour guide. I can't say enough about how fantastic she was. She was extremely knowledgeable about the area and the caves. She ensured we had all our needs met and questions answered. I would book any tour with Helen again! We had a delightful traditional lunch and she gave us a ride to another place and included history/info continuously as we went. One of my favorite tours of this trip.

Visiting the Punkva Caves and Macocha Abyss near BRNO, the Czech is almost a MUST see place and these caves are open all year round. Dress well since the overall year temperature is plus 6 C. You can book this trip with Helena Svedova from BRNOguide

Hela was an amazing host, she is very knowledgeable about Brno and the Czech Republic at large, relaying interesting facts along the entire trip. Every part of this tour was fantastic. The trip through the mountains was beautiful and a welcome break from the city. On the way up to the abyss, Helena, the guide through most of the tour, was incredibly nice and told us many interesting details about the area and its history. We also stopped at a really impressive church hidden in a sleepy village and where she let us roam around and take pictures. The abyss and cave were beautiful and the boat ride was a really fun way to explore even more of the cave. This tour was a highlight of our trip to Brno.

The best part of the tour was actually the experience with the guide Helen. She is very personable and knowledgeable of the area. She fitted the tour to my needs and made the whole experience one I will definitely remember. The caves are beautiful and I highly recommend visiting them, but the additional information provided by Helen made the entire tour worth all the time spent. Also her English is impeccable.
