Miradouro de Nossa Senhora da Conceicao
Stop ved udsigtspunktet Nossa Senhora da Conceição med panoramaudsigt over byen Horta og Faials østkyst
Caldeira
Passage gennem det centrale område af øen, indtil vi når et af de mest ikoniske steder på øen, den store Faial-caldera, 2.000 meter i diameter og med sit højeste punkt på 1.043 meter over havets overflade.
Praia Da Faja

Great half day tour in Faial
Our guide Victor arrived on time. Pleasant and very knowledgeable of the island’s history and factual info about the eruptions, earthquakes etc. Victor was very flexible as to where we wanted to go and came up with some alternative routes since we had seen a few sights already.

Fabulous Faial
Our half-day tour of Faial with Rachel was absolutely wonderful! Rachel was an excellent driver and made sure we got to all of the must-see sites, while also taking us to some of her favorite viewpoints and beautiful beaches that we may not have discovered on our own. She was also an amazing photographer and captured so many beautiful memories for us along the way. What really made the tour special was Rachel’s incredible knowledge and insight into the island. You could tell how much she loves Faial, and she shared so many interesting stories and details that made the experience even more meaningful. We had a fantastic time and would highly recommend Rachel to anyone looking to explore the beauty of Faial!

Great discovery of Faial
Pleasant half-day that allows you to get an overview of all the sites to discover on the island of Faial in 4 hours. On the other hand, there were few explanations about the history of the island and the sites visited. We are driven to the location as if by a taxi.

Tour Horta with Paulo
Ask for a tour with Paulo. He went out of his way to communicate his love of Faial and to make sure we saw as much as possible during our tour. Much better than going on a shore excursion on a bus through your cruise line. From a value standpoint, we got a much better, more informative, and more pleasant tour for literally half the price of the ship-sponsored tour.
