Tag med os på denne 4,5-timers tur for at opleve Jakartas højdepunkter, arrangeret af en lokal indonesisk guide, der deler personlig indsigt i menneskerne, vartegnene og den mangfoldige og rige kultur i en af verdens største og mest fascinerende byer. Vi mødes ved "MONAS IRTI"-indgangen til Indonesiens Nationalmonument. Vi besøger derefter de største seværdigheder rundt omkring i byen, herunder: *Nationalmonument *Biltransport til katedralen (15 min) *Jakarta Cathedral, det største kristne hellige sted i Indonesien *Istiqlal-moskeen, den største moske i Sydøstasien og verdens tredjestørste *Togtur til den gamle bydel (30 min) *Kota Tua, den historiske koloniplads i Jakarta *Lokal indonesisk håndværk og kunst *Jakarta historiemuseum *Biltransport til Chinatown (15 min) *Jakartas Chinatown *Lokale traditionelle markeder med eksotiske smage og forfriskninger *Jakartas buddhistiske tempel Vi slutter ved indgangen til Holiday Inn Jakarta Gajah Mada. Udforsk grunden og det højhuse udsigtstårn på denne velkendte obelisk bygget til minde om indonesisk uafhængighed fra Holland. Adgang til grunden er gratis, men "Valgfri tårnstigning har et nominelt gebyr.
Gå en kort tur rundt på domkirkens område og se katedralens indre og ydre samt bedehaven. Dette demonstrerer en interessant sammenstilling af kultur og religion i Jakarta under turen, og viser kristne traditioner sammen med (flertallet) islamiske traditioner og også buddhistiske traditioner.

Fifi was our guide and we had a fantastic tour with her. She has excellent English and was very knowledgeable about history and culture of Java and Indonesia. She answered all our questions, was very cheerful and friendly and made the tour quite enjoyable. Our group consisted of two couples on a limited time schedule, and she adjusted the itinerary to spend more time or less time in various places given our preference. I highly recommend her and this trip. It was an excellent value and so much more enjoyable than being on a motorcoach with 30 other people!

My shared tour got converted to a private tour as I was the only one for the tour today - and boy that was the best thing that happened. Fifi is one of the best tour operators I have been with. She takes her job seriously and she knows her stuff. She gets into detail of every location and tries her best to give the truest picture of history. The best part about the tour is that you get to see the actual city on foot and train and you not just limited to a car which takes you places. Keep it up Fifi. Until next time.
A superb tour in all respects; Fifi is incredibly enthusiastic and knowledgeable about both contemporary Jakarta and Indonesian history. Her friendliness, honesty and diplomacy were a credit to her. The tour was well planned and the use of the local train to cross town for example made the use of our time very efficient. A great tour to orientate you to navigating the city if its your first time here. Fifi offers several tours outside of Jakarta also, and her English is brilliant. Very happy.
