Bulguksa-templet blev opført som det første UNESCOs verdensarvssted i Korea i 1995. Under Shilla-dynastiet, for næsten 1.500 år siden, var buddhismen national religion og byggede Bulguksa-templet for at lave det "buddhistiske land" med de bedste byggeteknikker.
Seokguram er en kunstig stengrotte bygget med et omhyggeligt design til at tjene Buddhaen i det 8. århundrede, som blev udpeget som UNESCOs verdensarv i 1995. Inde i hulen er smuk hovedbuddha, der viser essensen af Silla buddhistisk kunst, nedfældet.
Daereungwon, en gammel gravpark med 23 store og små grave klemt sammen. Blandt dem er Cheonmachong den mest repræsentative, som er den eneste grav i Daeneungwon, der bliver afsløret. Peter took us to the temple where we had chance to see on-going religious services he has explained so clearly and nicely to us. Very informative ! We learned so much ! We had a good full day tour with Peter. He took us around the city in car and showed us all worth of seeing. He was good in explaining the history and Korean facts. It was a hot day and Peter ensured we were cooled down in between the sites so we could manage the full day. I can only recommend

I have taken several private tours over the years, and this is hands down the best one so far. Peter was very knowledgeable about the area and his English is really good. My mom has 3 ruptured discs in her back and uses a walker to help take the pressure off her spine. He adjusted our tour based on her limitations and she had a fantastic time. I also have a severe food allergy and he made sure we want to lunch at a restaurant which had things I could eat while catering to Mom’s love of traditional food. We had booked tours to two different with him and I am so happy we did. If you are going to book a tour this is the one to take. I would absolutely book a tour with him again.
