Du kan kun blive forblændet og fortryllet af så meget skønhed foran disse storslåede kunstgenstande og deres blomstrende og mangfoldige håndværk. Denne tur giver dig mulighed for at se mere end 40.000 lokale håndværkere i basarerne i Marrakech. Du vil opdage vidunderene ved de marokkanske krydderier og traditioner, der er brugt internationalt og også af marokkanere i hundreder af år. Guiden viser dig, hvordan traditionelle tæpper fremstilles i hånden af naturlige farver, og du kan også se, hvordan kobber, træ og andre originale genstande fremstilles i soukene. Guiden vil sørge for, at du er komfortabel og nyder dit besøg.

Vi vil starte med at besøge lokale håndværkeres værksteder (lædervarer, smede, tømrere, farvere osv. og mange andre). Vi vil besøge nogle af de bedste udstillingslokaler, basarer og butikker for at opdage de bedste produkter af vores kunsthåndværk, som man ikke kan finde ved første øjekast! Fra møbler til smykker, lamper, tilbehør, tæpper og kaftan ... alt er i denne enestående tur!
Farvernes souk ligger i Medinaen, nær Mouassine-kilden og moskeen af samme navn, i den vestlige halvdel af virvaret af gader. Selvom denne souk mistede sin aktivitet for flere år siden med den stigende brug af industrielle farvestoffer, kan du stadig se nogle små værksteder, hvor traditionel farvning stadig praktiseres.
Souk Semmarine, der betragtes som hovedpulsåren i medinaens souks, er tilgængelig fra Place Jemaa El Fna, i en derb (medina-gyde) af samme navn. Et navn, som det tager fra beslagsmederne, der engang indtog dette strategiske sted for at sko karavanernes dyr, mens sidstnævnte gjorde deres sædvanlige indkøb. I dag er Souk Semmarine en meget farverig shoppinggade, hvor du hovedsageligt kan finde forhandlere af stoffer, souvenirs, kunsthåndværk, men også unikke adresser til marokkanske antikviteter. Det repræsenterer indgangen til de specialiserede souks: krydderier, tæpper, stoffer, hjemmesko... En sand Ali Babas hule.

Amid found us at the meeting point and it was just the two of of us on this booking. It was a wet day so we got under cover in the souk. Amid shared a lot of interesting information about Morocco, Marrakesh, the souk and the artisans. Plenty of history and how that has shaped Marrakesh today. There were various stops at different shops of good quality. Friendly selling, tea along the way, but no pressure to buy. A great way to familiarise yourself with the various areas of the souk and assistance in getting a better deal if you are keen to make a purchase. If you want to see more artisans in action it would be good to go on a morning tour

Our Marrakech experience with Amid The day was full of excitement...Amid had given us a thorough tour to the places we want to go like the Souk of Medina, Jemaa El- Fnaa and many more...he was so patient and kind and very accommodating to answer the questions about the place. The history and the buildings are art itself. I even take notes of the history he had discussed about the place in Marrakech. He brought us to places that we can buy original and genuine products from Morroco, leathers and teapots, herbs and beauty products, as well as the recommended Hammam scrub 🤣 an unforgettable experience. We were glad our riad recommended Amid as our private tour guide. We're in Marrakech for a short visit on the weekend to celebrate me and my friends 50th 🎂! Instantly you get a connection with Amid like your friend a long time ago. He puts us at ease straight away. He was very patient, very kind, very helpful always always offered us to carry our shopping bags. He also has a vast amount of knowledge regarding his city and Our tour lasted more than half a day. Amid will go beyond his limits! He brought us to different areas of souks like food section, leather areas, jewellery, and decorations. We learned a lot about Moroccan history and culture. We visited Bahia Palace ,Medina souks, Medersa Ben Youssef, and Jemma el-Fnaa. We thoroughly enjoyed our full-day private walking tour with Amid! He is very knowledgeable about Morocco’s history & culture, which made his explanations interesting and informative at each stop. He adjusted our itinerary to fit our interests and structured our day intelligently - visits to important sites followed by a relaxing rooftop to lunch, then shopping in the souks. As a shopping guide, Amid really excelled! We were given special showings by high quality merchants for only the product categories we wanted to see (rugs, spices, skin care, and stoneware). Amid gave us negotiating tips and helped ensure we got excellent value on our purchases. We highly recommend taking a tour with Amid when visiting Marrakech!
