Denne morgen bliver du hentet af vores naturforskere for at besøge Gamboa, dette område har en største biodiversitet, fordi der er en del af nationalparker for at bevare det friske vand til Panamakanalens funktion. Besøg dovendyrreservatet, dette redningscenter har et stort kompromis for at redde dovendyrene i området og sørge for pleje og genintroduktion i regnskoven for disse dyr, programmet inkluderer også redning af andre arter, vi vil ikke forstå dovendyrenes opførsel og vi besøger også sommerfuglehaven og frøernes udstillinger. Fortsæt til frokost (ikke inkluderet) og om eftermiddagen nyd en bådtur på vandet i kanalen for at besøge Gatun-søen og udforske forskellige øer på udkig efter aber og dyreliv. This tour was the highlight of our trip. Our tour guide Juan was awesome. He gave us a great overview of the history of Panama on the way to the slot sanctuary. The sloth sanctuary is smaller than expected but it was nice to see the slots. The best part of the trip was the boat ride with Juan and the boat driver. They made sure that we saw all of the wildlife in Lake Gatun. We saw three different types of monkeys, a sloth, iguanas, and a small crocodile. The white faced monkeys were so cute and to fun to interact with. There was an entire family of them! It was great. We also got to drive past the huge boats on the Panama canal. After the boat ride, he took us to a beautiful area to have lunch and relax. On the way back to the hotel he drove us through Fort Clayton and by the military cemetery because he knew my grandfathered was in the army in Panama during WWII. It was a great day. We really appreciated Juan and the extra mile he went to make sure that our experience was memorable.
Juan, our tour guide, made this a trip to remember. He went out of his way to point out monkeys, sloths, iguanas, and crocodiles during our tour. His tour of the Gamboa area was also very enlightening and endearing, since I am a former resident of Gamboa. I highly recommend Juan. You won’t be disappointed.
This company is absolutely amazing! They went above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience. We saw 3 types of monkeys, sloths not only in the sanctuary but on the grounds around it, butterflies, frogs, and orchids. The guide, Hector, was extremely knowledgeable and very friendly. The driver, Diego, was also friendly and a great driver. He even went way out of his way to bring back my glasses that I left in the car. All members of the team wired together to make sure I got my glasses back which I really needed and I can’t thank them enough for that. All staff communicated well as to the pick up time and answered questions quickly pre-tour when I reached out to them. We even got lucky and had the tour all to ourselves. I’d absolutely book with this company again and I can’t thank them enough for a wonderful experience!

Our tour guide Juan made this a fantastic tour. He was able to spot wildlife and made sure that we were able to see birds, monkeys and sloths as well as giving us some history of the canal area. He was so enjoyable to be with on the tour. It was a great day.
