Gennem turen i Can Det vil du se et tydeligt eksempel på erklæringen af Serra de Tramuntana som et UNESCOs verdensarvssted. Den såkaldte enestående universelle værdi falder sammen med Can Dets aktivitet både med hensyn til dyrkning af de gamle oliventræer på terrasserne i bjergene i Sóller-dalen og i vandingssystemerne i dens appelsinplantager. Det er et eksempel på den menneskelige tilpasning til det territorium i århundreder, der danner det nuværende kulturlandskab. At smage olien fra mere end 1000 år gamle oliventræer er en unik oplevelse.

A very interesting insight into olive oil production at the oldest oil mill in Mallorca. It's great that such traditions are still preserved and maintained. The tour was not too lengthy, but also not too short. Just right. Delicious tasting and a very hospitable family. Unfortunately, we arrived late at 12:00 due to the traffic situation and had two small children with us. The family kindly accommodated us, and we were allowed to join the subsequent tour (the last tour). That was not a given for us, as it was our fault. We were already relieved of stress during the drive, and before the start or while we were waiting, we were given water to drink to shorten the waiting time and help us acclimate. We were shown a lot of understanding. A wonderful tour and very hospitable! A very lovely family! Always happy to do it again!

My wife and I had a wonderful tour of this beautiful home and the olive press yesterday. We booked directly via email with a quick response. tomeudet@gmail.com The presentation was great, very authentic. The food, olive oil and wine was a nice surprise and excellent too, we enjoyed it a lot. A fantastic few hours, very much appreciated, well done and thank you to the owner of this lovely business. One of the best short tour we have been on for many years. Highly recommended.

Very interesting but the tour and lunch were only 45 minutes. Lunch was 2 slices of bread with toppings. Good explanation about the old press shop. Nice house, we saw only 2 rooms. 30 euros per person is not worth it.
Dear Marlen. we are very sorry that the visit did not reach your expectations. Th elenght of the explanations is 45 minutes but we allow the clients to stay on the table or in the gartden as long as they wish having drinks. We dont't offer a lunch, just a tasting and has much more original products and drinks than what you comment. We find it not fair. As regards the house we dont offer a tour to all the house. It is where li live and have our private spaces but you saw more than to rooms as you say. We are sorry but we make a great efford to explain, show and share our activity and tradition in an original way very much appreciated by the majority of our visitors. If you consider a waste of money we can make a refund if you contact us.
Fantastic tour and tasting, it was great to get a glimpse into how olive oil used to be made on a relatively small scale, and it was delicious!

A lovely activity to do for an hour or so if in this part of the world. Both Paula and Tomeu were very welcoming .The house and garden are beautiful with a shaded courtyard. This is only one of three traditional olive oil mills left on the island.Of course ,since olive harvesting season is not here yet,the mill was not functional and we were shown a video of the process and had a tour of the mill. We then were given bread,tomato and olive oil to make the traditional pa amb oli and also got to taste their tomato chutney ,marmalade and orange juice.The almond cake was delicious too. We ended up buying some olive oil . Overall ,since we had never been to an olive oil mill before ,this was an enjoyable experience.

Nice visit to the olive farm in Soller where a nice host told about the area, the history of the farm and the olive production. Finished with a good brunch of local food and beverages.

This beautiful property is home to a 400 year old Olive press. This was a very interesting tour of the property with clear description of the process of making Olive oil in this beautiful region of Majorca

We had a wonderful visit to Can Det. Right at the beginning we got a very interesting and vivid introduction to olive oil production, which really excited us. The subsequent tasting was excellent – especially the orange jam and almond cake were extremely delicious. You can see how much love and quality is in the products. Everyone was incredibly friendly and warm. Especially Paula was very kind to our daughter Tamara, which made us very happy. We had a great time overall and can fully recommend a visit to Can Det!
