Erik was AMAZING! He is so knowledgeable about Amsterdam..even though he’s an American LOL! I did the “Ganga connoisseurs tour”. He knew the answers to all of our questions and explained everything to us. He didn’t just tell us about the “cafes”. He told us about the history of Amsterdam. He took us to the cafes, which was the point of our visit. But he also took us to historical places along the way. But the most important thing was….he’s so kind and one of the sweetest souls I’ve ever met! So If you’re thinking of going a tour with Erik, have no worries!! You will, without a doubt, have the best time of your life! You’ll also have a wonderful tale to tell your friends and families about. I know I did!! LOL

We had a great time with Erick! He is super knowledgeable about the area and he makes you feel so in family that you feel free to ask about anything. The rest of the group were very nice people, Erick made sure we all felt comfortable with each other, had a fantastic time. I also recomendar the gay pub crawl that they offer. We are not gay but had a blast.

Guide did not show up. Very disappointing. We waited at the meeting point for 30 minutes. We really wanted to take this tour.

Had a fantastic time! The tour guide Charlie was fantastic. She did the tour in German and was also able to translate for us in perfect English. We learned so much and it’s a good trip for couples. Not large groups and even some shots in a local bar where we learned about the culture! Join this tour

The weather was absolutely awful but me and my husband actually turned up 15 to 20 minutes early as we did not want to miss the tour as it was pre paid. Several other tours went past the small statue of Belle and had brief talks about it before moving on. As the weather was so bad we were sheltering in front of the chocolate shop so we had a full view of the statue to make sure we saw the guide, another couple was sheltering a couple of meters away. By 5.55 another 2 couples had arrived and we all waited together but the guide never arrived. I tried to call the number on trip advisor and left a message. Another of the ladies had used a different booking agent and had a different number and apparently made contact. The guide tried to advise that she had missed the tour as she had not been there in time, the conversation then went on with her advising that there were 8 people stood waiting for the tour, she was advised she would get a refund. I then tried the number again and left another message via the number I had and sent a message via trip advisor. We all strongly beleieve that the guide did not arrive because of the weather. The photo attached is of 7 of us (minus the one taking the photo) stood outside the chocolate shop waiting while one of us is on the phone chasing up the guide.

We chose a tour through Amsterdam’s infamous red light district. Our tour-guide Leon was really fun, charming and well informed about the city! He provided us with lots of interesting information and answered all our questions with ease. We had a lot of fun, definitely would recommend!!

As soon as we met up with the tour group and our guide Erik arrived, we knew this was gonna be fun. The start of the tour was funny, casual but also way more informative than I thought it would be! We got so much extra information about life in Amsterdam back in the old days, it really adds to the tour experience. Besides the informative part we just had fun the whole time, everyone in the group seemed to get along and we all went out together afterwards! Definitely would recommend this tour.

Our host was very knowledgeable about the district history and current day operations. It was a good overview of the area.

I came to Amsterdam for the first time with my friend and were excited to see the red light area but wanted a little guidance. Jean did a great job telling us all about Amsterdam and answering our many, many questions. He was kind, friendly, and lives in the area so he was very knowledgeable on where to go for dinner and drinks after as well. I would definitely book if you have the chance and see if Jean is available!
