I vores to-timers besøg vil vi begynde med det romerske teater for at følge en kulturel kronologisk rækkefølge og lægge grundlaget for vores by Malaga. Dernæst fortsætter vi med citadellet, hvorfra vi vil opdage alle dets hjørner og hemmeligheder. Vi starter fra den nederste indhegning, og vi går lidt efter lidt op, indtil vi når paladsområdet, hvor der venter os en uovertruffen udsigt, som vi også vil forklare, samt de smukkeste områder af fæstningen. Muslimsk historie, en af de mest fremragende historiske perioder i vores by, vil være den røde tråd i anden del af turen, og dækker så interessante aspekter som den katolske erobring. Besøget foregår normalt i små grupper, så behandlingen er meget mere personlig og ideel for dem, der gerne vil nyde tiden til fotografering. Derudover udføres turen af en lokal og indfødt ekspertguide fra byen. Billetter til monumenterne er inkluderet i prisen.

I booked this excursion in Malaya from the USA. When arrived to the location, nobody was there and nobody showed up. When called the operator of this deal, I was told it has been cancelled (without any notification). This is disgusting. After planning ahead and counting on this tour....they just cancelled. Complete disrespect. I would not recommend anyone to trust this operator!!!
The fort is located near the centre of Malaga at the foot of Gibralfaro mountain The Moors began building this fort in the mid-10th century which was destroyed in an earthquake Today Alcazabar has been rebuilt in its ancient glory with stairs arches and small courtyards
Since we started the visit with Esther we found her to be a very documented, nice and caring girl of what we could need to be able to make the visit according to expectations, entertaining, concise but recounting in detail each corner dropping pearls that made us sharpen more eagerly the attention on what she would relate. Always with the smile for flag and what we had at our feet was a great experience to meet again with such emblematic monuments of our Malaga. We were a diverse group of different ages and along with the tour, the story was totally adapted from children to adults. Thank you very much “Memories of Malaga” and especially to Esther for her time, her work and her desire!!

This weekend we were in Malaga, on a family trip and visited the Alcazaba. Esther was our guide and we made a great visit with her. It is a guide of great professionalism, with which we learned history of this city, since Roman (we visited the Roman theater) and Muslim (Alcazaba). Your knowledge as well as your sympathy and pleasant company made our visit very enjoyable. When we get back to this city, we'll have your company again. If you are looking for guidance, do not hesitate.
