We did the visit with *Adela*, Art Historian and Official Guide of the Mosque-Cathedral, and it was AMAZING. You can tell she loves what she does. She explains with a passion and knowledge that transports you. She doesn't just tell you dates, she tells you stories, curiosities, and art details that you overlook if you go on your own. She is a charming person, super approachable, attentive, and has incredible patience to answer all questions. We did the Mosque, Jewish Quarter, and Medina Azahara with her and each visit was exceptional. She makes you understand Córdoba in a totally different way. If you go to Córdoba, don't hesitate. Hiring Adela is the best investment of the trip. 10/10. We will do it again. "Thank you Adela for making it so special"
The visit lasted approximately an hour and a half with a person who overflows with knowledge. Very technical at times for those who are from other fields (science in my case), but the truth is that I was pleased to learn quite a bit about this monument and the young woman who guided us explained it very well.
The guide was very good, it was like living the era from its beginning of construction until now. That said, the ticket should be cheaper.
