- Garanterer du en vandhval svømning? Nej. Vi svømmer kun, når havforhold, synlighed og hvaladfærd gør det sikkert og respektfuldt.

- Hvor stærk en svømmer skal jeg være? For hval svømning, skal du være komfortabel fin-svømning i det åbne hav i et hurtigt tempo i korte intervaller. Hvis du foretrækker, kan du bo på båden eller snorkle kun i beskyttede områder.
- Hvor mange gæster er der om bord? Lille gruppe, max 6 gæster.
- Hvad er inkluderet? Premium masker/snorkler/finer, våddragt, håndklæder, drikkevarer og snacks.

It was amazing and the guides were helpful and dedicated. We saw whales and dolphins before we even left the bay.
Being able to see humpbacks was truly worth the 4 hours at sea. My husband decided to go in the water and I stayed. He enjoyed the experience but I may have actually gotten a better view of the whales. As a bonus we saw a pod of dolphins and some of the young one were spinning down us. Overall the captain and his assistant were knowledgeable and put the whales and the passengers safety first. Great experience overall.
We were picked up 40 mins late and only because another operator made a call for us. The phone number on the website was unanswered. I know there is no guarantee to swim with whales. We didn’t. We just watched the captain have a lovely chat with a passenger and we saw whales from a distance. We were fourth boat ( only 3 are allowed near the whale for a swim). I do think if we had left on time we might have been the third boat. I know there is no guarantee but it’s hard not to think it. The guide talked about intuition and experience in terms of following / finding whales. But we didn’t see it. Maybe I’m just carrying a grudge it’s a LOT of money to pay for a mediocre experience. I later got an email apologising for the mix up.its just hard to accept when you don’t have the money nor the time do have another go. .
Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry again for the confusion regarding the meeting point. The correct meeting location is clearly indicated on Viator and on the booking confirmation, but we mistakenly sent you an incorrect Google Maps link when sending you the final tour information. We will communicate our captain’s phone number to our guests in the future as unfortunately it seems the number you had was our admin number which is not operational before 8am. We fully acknowledge that this caused unnecessary confusion. As a result, the boat came to pick you up and the tour started later than planned. We extended the tour accordingly so that the time lost at the beginning was made up. We also understand that our tour may appear more expensive than some alternatives. - We deliberately limit our groups to a maximum of 6 guests, while many other boats carry larger groups of 12 guests. - We also choose to pay our guides and captains fairly and at a higher professional rate. This is part of our commitment to providing a more personal, safe and sustainable experience. We are sorry that the tour did not fully meet your expectations and appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback.
This was by far the best company I did a whale tour with. Teiki is truly passionate about the whales and marine life and taught a lot of great information about whales and marine life. We witnessed a beautiful few minutes of whales breeching out of the water and playing, which was incredible! But unfortunately, nature didn't provide any whales to swim underwater with. We found a male singer humpback whale and I was able to swim down a few meters to hear it singing, which was beautiful! This was a beautiful morning on the water looking for whales and the crew and company is great! Thank you so much!

This was the best Excursion we did on our 2 week tour of the islands. From Gina helping to organise with us (incredibly helpful and responsive) to the actual tour - everything was perfect. Safety came first which was a huge relief for us being from Chicago (never open water swam before). We managed to see lots of whales underwater and even got circled by a 600+ lb Black Marlin!!! Once in a lifetime opportunity and experience- look no further and book with this tour group. 100/10 experience and recommendation.

We had a wonderful time - Teiki was absolutely great l, very knowledgeable and friendly, while maintaining a high level of professionalism and making us feel safe and comfortable at all times. At one point, my wife wasn’t feeling well due to seasickness, and Teiki was incredibly supportive and attentive. He made her feel comfortable while continuing to maintain great attention to detail and, most importantly, ensuring our safety throughout the experience. We were lucky enough to encounter two whales, and swimming with them was truly a unique and unforgettable experience. It is something we will remember for a very long time, and we are extremely grateful to Teiki for making it such a special experience. Well done!

What a great adventure in Tahiti for myself and two daughters. We parked in the parking garage Chirac which was just a few minutes walk to wear the boat was. We were able to swim with a mama and baby whale. An amazing sight! Teiki was a fantastic guide. Highly recommend.

Very friendly and knowledgeable guide. Unfortunately, we were not able to get close to the whales and had not realized that only excellent swimmers have a chance of getting close. Two weeks after our excursion, we have not received any of the promised photos… Given the results, the excursion seems to us to have been very expensive.

Concernant la mise à l’eau, les exigences physiques et le niveau de nage requis sont clairement indiqués dans la description de l’activité et rappelés à nouveau dans notre message de confirmation. Nous précisons notamment que la nage se déroule en pleine mer, parfois avec courant, houle et mouvements océaniques, et qu’il faut être capable de nager au moins 100 mètres de manière autonome et sans assistance. Cette communication est justement faite pour permettre à chacun de bien mesurer la réalité de l’activité, de gérer ses attentes et d’éviter toute déception. Nous comptons donc aussi sur nos clients pour évaluer honnêtement leurs capacités et leurs limites. Concernant les photos, nous sommes désolés pour le délai. Nous sommes d’une micro- entreprise et en pleine saison, Teiki est en mer quotidiennement et n’a pas toujours la possibilité de traiter les images rapidement. Celles-ci ne font d’ailleurs pas partie des prestations incluses dans le prix du tour ; nous avons simplement plaisir à les partager gracieusement avec nos clients lorsque nous avons pu en prendre. We saw two or three whales from the boat and hopped in the water. Half of our boat decided not to join in the water because you need to be able bodied and comfortable snorkeling in open ocean with harsh currents. While we did get close to whales in the water, we couldn’t really see them underwater and the above water view from the boat was clearer. We didn’t navigate to the sunken ship or rays. We had a good time and our guide Teikei was passionate. All snorkeling gear and snacks are provided. Don’t let the other reviews set your expectations too high!

You are absolutely right that swimming with whales in the open ocean requires confidence, good mobility and the ability to handle currents and changing sea conditions. It was an amazing experience!! Our guides were fantastic and so knowledgeable on everything and made the experience so special and memorable. From start to finish they were amazing and wouldn’t have changed a thing. 10000 percent would recommend and wouldn’t have wanted anyone else teaching us and giving us such a beautiful experience!!!
