Beskrivelse
På denne tur til Mount Rainier National Park er der meget mangfoldighed fra alpine miljø til gammel vækstskov i lavere højde. Vi kører til højdepunkterne i parken, og du vil opleve forskellige landskaber og landskaber som gletsjere, bjerge, vandfald, floder og høje træer i gammel voksende skov. Du vil være på vejledt kortere vandreture på punkter af interesse. I vinterområderne i parken kan være lukket nogle dage, og ikke alle højdepunkter vil være tilgængelige til tider - fra november til juni snesko / kramponer vil blive leveret, når det er nødvendigt, da der ofte er sne på stierne i disse måneder.

Rejseplan
Vi kører til Mt. Rainier National Park (2 timer) og vandrer fra besøgscentret ved Paradise i cirka en kilometer, hvor vi picnic tæt på nogle kæmpe gletsjere. Vi vandrer derefter tilbage en kilometer og kører til udsigtspunkter med panoramaudsigt, og vi ser Narada-vandfaldene og Christine-vandfaldene, gamle skove med tusind år gamle store træer og Reflection Lakes. I vinter- og forårssæsonerne (november-juni) vil vi snesko i stedet for at vandre - ingen erfaring påkrævet.
Pick up og drop off er i Seattle centrum.
Alternativt, afhentning og afhentning er i nærheden af Space Needle, hvis anmodet.
Vi vandrer omkring en kilometer nær gletsjere i området Paradise i 5.500 fod højde. Dette er også hvor det vigtigste besøgscenter ligger i Mt. Rainier National Park.
Vi vandrer til bunden af Narada Falls - 168 fod fald nær Paradise.
Vi ser Reflection Lakes, hvor Mount Rainier ofte afspejles om sommeren. Om vinteren er søen frossen, og vejen er lukket.
Vi ser Christine Falls under den gamle stenbro.
Vi går i old-growth skov i National Park nær Longmire i lavere højde.

Susan was an excellent guide. She was very friendly, knowledgeable and you can tell she loves her job. Be prepared for a strenuous uphill walk/climb to gorgeous views of the mountain and surrounding areas. We throughly enjoyed our day!! Thank you.

My first time at Mount Rainier and it’s absolutely stunning! From the pristine forests, the lakes and waterfalls to the magnificent and majestic volcano and extensive glaciers. It was a good, interesting and very scenic trip to mt. Rainier with a very nice guide. She was kind and gave enough information about things we saw.
It was an amazing trip out to Mt Rainer and around that area. Susan the guide was amazing. If anyone is looking for a nice day trip out of the city this trip is well worth the money. Make sure you get Susan as a guide she will get you your money’s worth and she is very Knowledgeable about the area and the picnic on the Mountain was incredible. Little bit of an incline that will give your legs a work out.
Great experience!! Wear shoes you can hike in. The first part is steep and not a walk in the park. Susan was our guide and she was awesome. Only recommendation we had is to add another stop towards the late afternoon for people to get snacks. Getting food at 8am for your lunch spot and not eating again until after you get dropped off past 7p is too logical and makes for a grouchy group!
Susan and Anthony (our guide) were very nice, informative and clearly enjoy what they do. The tour was pretty complete for a day-trip: we saw all the main attractions of the park and did a gorgeous 3-mile uphill hike. Great experience, thanks!
Susan was beyond Amazing, very knowledgeable. I traveled with my teen daughters. The first hike was hard for me due to all the incline,but Susan was patient with some of our group. She made the hike seam so easy. Beautiful views and amazing stops. Will definitely book again with her as our guide.
