Amid found us at the meeting point and it was just the two of of us on this booking. It was a wet day so we got under cover in the souk. Amid shared a lot of interesting information about Morocco, Marrakesh, the souk and the artisans. Plenty of history and how that has shaped Marrakesh today. There were various stops at different shops of good quality. Friendly selling, tea along the way, but no pressure to buy. A great way to familiarise yourself with the various areas of the souk and assistance in getting a better deal if you are keen to make a purchase. If you want to see more artisans in action it would be good to go on a morning tour

Our Marrakech experience with Amid The day was full of excitement...Amid had given us a thorough tour to the places we want to go like the Souk of Medina, Jemaa El- Fnaa and many more...he was so patient and kind and very accommodating to answer the questions about the place. The history and the buildings are art itself. I even take notes of the history he had discussed about the place in Marrakech. He brought us to places that we can buy original and genuine products from Morroco, leathers and teapots, herbs and beauty products, as well as the recommended Hammam scrub 🤣 an unforgettable experience. Instantly you get a connection with Amid like your friend a long time ago. He puts us at ease straight away. He was very patient, very kind, very helpful always always offered us to carry our shopping bags. He also has a vast amount of knowledge regarding his city and Our tour lasted more than half a day. Amid will go beyond his limits! He brought us to different areas of souks like food section, leather areas, jewellery, and decorations. We learned a lot about Moroccan history and culture. We visited Bahia Palace ,Medina souks, Medersa Ben Youssef, and Jemma el-Fnaa. He is very client oriented and asked us what we wanted to do and see for our tour which I think is really important.He also is very interested in people so we got to know a bit of each other while during the tour.
