I løbet af denne 10-11 timers tur vil du besøge Dilijan, også kaldet "Armenisk Schweiz" for sine fantastiske naturlige skove. Byen er en del af Dilijan National Park. Du vil have et stop nær Parz-søen (Crystal), dannet på grund af naturlige klimaændringer, og står for en ganske populær destination blandt turister, der besøger Armenien. I slutningen af programmet er der det velbevarede Makaravank kloster, hvor man kan fordybe sig i skønheden i fantastiske arkitektoniske detaljer, med henvisning til det 10-13. århundrede.

Dilijan lokker folk til med sin uforglemmelige skønhed og milde klima. Byen strækker sig på bredden af Aghstev-floden, omgivet af bjerge og skove. Dilijan har berømmelse som et kursted. Den varme sol, friske luft og naturlige kurbade har stor helbredende indflydelse på mennesker. Dilijan er også rig på interessante arkitektoniske monumenter.
Lake Parz (Crystal) ligger i Dilijan National Park, Tavush-provinsen, i en højde af 1334 m over havets overflade. Søen blev dannet på grund af naturlige klimaændringer, den står for en ganske populær destination blandt både turister og lokale. Her kan man nyde den sjældne mangfoldighed af planter og tilbringe en hyggelig dag sammen med vennerne på en sejltur rundt om søen.
Makaravank er beliggende i Tavush-regionen (tæt på Ijevan) højt på toppen af et bjerg. Komplekset består af tre kirker. Her, sammen med komplicerede arkitektoniske løsninger, er de subtile basrelieffer og ornamenter af stor kunstnerisk interesse.
Grundlagt i 1951, Ijevan vin-brandy fabrik er en af de ældste fabrikker i Armenien. Det er beliggende i den smukke by Ijevan, Tavush provinsen. Fabrikken producerer et stort udvalg af brandy, drue, frugt og bær vine, frugt vodka og endda konserverede produkter, så det er en dejlig mulighed for at smage både vin og brandy på ét sted.

We had a great day touring around Yerevan with Aro! He took us to Sevan Lake, beautiful churches, and other amazing places. Even when we stayed longer than planned at some stops, he was very flexible and never rushed us. Highly recommended!
I took this tour only because my flight was changed and I had an additional day in Armenia. What a surprise! It was a very relaxed and interesting tour. The visit to Ijevan winery was superb. Lunch and wine tasting there were very good. Dilijan was a nice little town where we strolled for some time. A monastery is also included in the tour. Our guide, Marina, was very good.

After two excellent tours with Hyur Service, today's trip to Dilijan, Lake Parz, Makaravank and Ijevan was another wonderful experience and showed a completely different side of Armenia. Our guide, Arpi, was friendly, knowledgeable, and organized throughout the day. She shared interesting information about the history, culture and traditions of the regions we visited and ensured everyone felt comfortable and engaged. A special thanks also to our driver, Samuel, whose safe and smooth driving made the long journey enjoyable. The itinerary was well balanced. We started with the charming town of Dilijan before visiting the beautiful Lake Parz, surrounded by lush forests and peaceful mountain scenery. Unlike the dramatic landscapes of Tatev and Noravank, Lake Parz offered a calm and relaxing atmosphere. Makaravank Monastery was a true hidden gem, nestled among the forests of Tavush and rich in history, beautiful stone carvings and stunning views. The visit to Ijevan Wine-Brandy Factory was another highlight. The vineyards, cellars, mountain setting and warm hospitality provided a fascinating insight into Armenia's wine-making traditions. It was a perfect way to experience the culture and heritage of the region. What impressed me most was how different today's scenery was from the rest of Armenia. In a single day we experienced forests, mountains, lakes, monasteries and vineyards, proving that Armenia has much more to offer than its famous landmarks. Thank you to Arpi, Samuel and Hyur Service for another memorable day. I highly recommend this tour to anyone wishing to discover the green and peaceful side of Armenia.

Tamara is incredibly sweet and makes sure every guest is well looked after — whether it’s a much-needed toilet stop or the perfect wine recommendation. A small warning: drinking in the car is strictly forbidden. However, if you’re extra nice to our wonderful driver Karen, there’s a fair chance you’ll end up with a sweet treat and a little cognac later on.
