Vi kører fra Bratislava langs Lille Karpaterne bjergkæde gennem forskellige tidligere kongebyer, indtil vi når Modra, en by berømt for vinbrug og håndkastet keramik. Besøgende værkstedet Slovak Folk Majolik, den største producent af den verdenskendte Majolica-keramik, kan du finde nogle gode souvenirs her.
Red Stone Castle er vores næste stop. Vi ser rundt på dette storslåede, velbevarede renæssance-/barokslot, der ejes af berømte familier som Fuggers eller Pallfys. Vi besøger den fuldt møblerede indvendige del, Herre- og Damesalonen, billedgalleriet, møbeludstilling, biblioteket, kapellet, udstilling af historiske våben, vinkældre og meget mere.
Vinsmagning inkluderer et besøg i en traditionel vinkælder, hvor der serveres vin- og ostetallerkener, hvilket giver dig mulighed for at smage 6 prøver af lokale kvalitetsvine. Vi tror på, at du opdager din yndlings slovakiske vin. Og selvfølgelig få den omfattende historielektion om Slovakiet.

Fantastic tour with beautiful views, excellent wines, and very friendly and knowledgeable guides. Everything was smooth and well organized, and the winetasting felt authentic and welcoming. We especially enjoyed learning about the local wine traditions and exploring the area around Modra. A perfect day trip and definitely worth booking!

Peter was an amazing host. He knew a lot about the history of Bratislava, Slovakia and Eastern Europe. He also spoke fluent English which was an added bonus. We would all highly recommend Peter as a tour guide, regardless of what kind of tour you’re looking for. 10/10

Punctual, patient and above all very pleasant to be around. Peter is amazing and speaks perfect English. Definitely could keep up with us lot which is sometimes challenging for other tour guides, as we do chatter a lot. Great restaurant choices, pleasant drives, and great choices of day trips. We enjoyed every minute.
