On October 25, I visited the Grand Bahia Principe complex in Punta Cana and joined the club called Privilege Club, paying a large sum of money for the benefits it offered. I made a reservation through the club for June 24, 2026, for myself and my children in March, and they sent me an email asking me to indicate my preferences and those of my children regarding the room and restaurants, and that they would confirm by email. To my disappointment, when I arrived yesterday, 2 of the 3 rooms were not what had been requested, and my son's third room was not ready; check-in is at 3 PM, and they delivered it at 6 PM. To make matters worse, they did not provide us with the cards that activate the room, which turn on the air conditioning and lights, forcing us to go to the club 3 times. The person who assisted us at the club was quite rude, as he ignored the points raised. Finally, around 6:30 PM, the issues that had been present since 3 PM when we arrived were resolved. It is very unfortunate to invest a sum of money to hire a service that is supposed to be excellent and has turned out to be a fiasco. It is not worth the investment.

Hotel so the rooms superior junior suite need serious renovation , safety box broken air conditioning that works half with a hellish noise hair dryer broken, smell of moisture. Very unsympathetic staff at the service of guests have had to pay $195 US to get a renovated room no compensation for having to wait for a functional room for 2 days. Forget the good red wine in this hotel it is execrable, obviously it is to sell us better bottles $$$$ This is the last time I go into a Bahia principle , following this stay all Bahia are banned .
Driver was great and safe, got us to the airport in time and even let me stop to get some chicken patties!

Beautiful place not the best service overall. The bar team was good especially the pool bar. Had to be waiting on food cant get room service here cant take food to your room ect. Everything was not listed in the bookings so my expectations werent met thankfully Get on board tours made the experience a lot more enjoyable as i was celebrating my honeymoon. He was so reliable and courteous his # is 8763968472

Transfer guide was great met us after getting our bags and walked us to car It was a private car to our hotel and driver was amazing in sharing the history of the island and even stopping to get local food
